Update Sucks
After the update the app no longer supports my 96x128 Panel. The app keeps resizing everything I select to 96 x 96 completely shutting off 1/4 of the panel…
Loy Space is the way to go right now. Recognized the panel after unplugging and reconnecting power. Full use of the 96x128 display and no account/email required!

Loop no longer works with app closed
Overall I really like the new design and features. But when I close the app, the backpack quits looping through gifs. Hopefully this is fixed soon. This wasn’t an issue with the old app.
Broken by new app
The developer recently decided to entirely overhaul the app in order to add a paid subscription service which features are locked behind and paid AI image generation.
GIFs can no longer be set to repeat by loop and can only be set by time.
Playlists will stop changing between your images/gifs if you close the app or the panel disconnects from your phone during use.
Avoid until they fix this.

ADD A GIF BACK PLEASE
All in all, I absolutely love the new update, it makes everything feel much easier to use. I’ve had the Nyan Gear backpack for almost a year now and it’s been amazing. My only complaint is since the app update, one of my favorite gifs disappeared :(
The two cats peeking their heads inside a box/bag. I’ve searched for 30 mins and no luck. Please please add this gif back!
