Buggy lately
I’ve used this app fora while, and it’s mostly been great, but lately it crashes when I tap a stop to see details for the next bus. Would be nice to get that fixed.
Need change
I like the app. One thing that is not sitting right with me is the Bx92 and Bx95 shuttles. Why is it under the Brooklyn column. It should be under the
Bronx column.

Bus Q102 change
This is a great app but some bus routes in the city have changed .. one of them is Q102 rossevelt island
Sep 2025 update
If you want to get the latest updates of the new nyc bus redesign, you most likely have to uninstall the app and install it from App Store again and will load all the latest bus routes.

Love this app. Using it for years now!! Just so you know bus lines are being updated. Please remove q48bus, q20a and q20b bus and put new bus q20. I’m only writing this on the review because I don’t see contact us button on the app. I love this app and don’t want to change to a new app!!! Please update new lines thank you!!

The time is super accurate
what the title says, really helpful when i get ready for school and want to know how long i can stay home and avoid the cold weather until the bus comes
Great for my specific use
I used this app to successfully track down which Staten Island bus my girlfriend had left her iPhone on. The up to date GPS info for one particular bus lined up with the Find My iPhone GPS data and I was able to track the bus down and retrieve it :)
Used to be perfect
It crashes but only on certain bus lines.. weird and annoying.

We use it twice a day, it works great and is very accurate.

App does what is says, but it's missing the actual system maps so if you don't know the bus line you need to take this app is not going to be helpful.
If all you want is a bus tracker and nothing more, you got it here.
Functional little app. All it does is find where the buses are; it does the job without a hitch. Very easy and straightforward to use; fast too! Most of the time I know where I'm going, so if a connection is present and all I need to know is how far away my bus is, this is my go-to app. With the routes I look for the most saved in Favorites, I get what I need in four seconds and two taps. (Maybe less for those of you with newer iPhones, which would be pretty much everyone lol.) If you need navigation and/or offline functionality though, perhaps this app isn't for you. I do use TransitApp which gets me offline schedules and has a crowdsourcing feature that helps others get around, but it's a bit slow on my iPhone 5 just to find my next bus (in real time). But for what it's worth, sometimes on this app, the map of the route with the bus stops stays loaded so you can look at it without a connection. But it doesn't show bus locations anymore, and since I know where I'm going, I haven't depended on this function enough to find out the extent of this ability.
