Crucial tool for accessing public space in NYC
I’ve been looking like a tool like this for ages. New York City has tons of privately owned public spaces that unfortunately are rarely marked, but should be accessible to the public. I’ve used this recently to help me plan a walking tour with my visiting family.
not useful
full of mistakes and outdated info
Love this app!
I love this app and feel grateful to have a way to collect observations and photos of public space across New York City. I like how it’s both interactive and an effective resource for exploring New York City’s public space.
👍
Really love the idea-! Would be great to add public libraries & dog parks, food pantries, & other public spaces of the likes! Will def be adding some photos. Great idea!
Just what I needed
So useful. Exactly what I needed to find places to take my son. Thanks so much for this!
Quick responsive app, but few features
Great idea for an app! Missing key features like a filter, or user submissions with a review system for example “go past security, make the first right and go through the 2nd door…” I love that users can add their own photos but I’d like to filter out the locations that don’t have any. Very promising app. I’m happy you were featured in the New Yorker.
