About

You're not alone anymore. Whatever your child's diagnosis — autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, a rare condition, or one of 41 we support — you've felt this. At 2am, when you're searching for answers and every Facebook group gives you different advice. When teachers don't understand. When family means well but just doesn't get it. When you're exhausted from piecing together information from Reddit threads, websites, and outdated posts. We built nyceville because we've been there. We are there. nyceville is a community created by a special needs parent, for special needs parents. It's the place we wished existed when we were drowning in questions and desperate for answers that actually work. ASK YOUR QUESTION. GET REAL ANSWERS. When you post a question on nyceville, you tell us exactly what kind of response you need — a solution that worked, an experience from someone who's been there, an opinion, or just support. No more sifting through hundreds of comments to find the one that actually helps. SOLUTIONS THAT ARE PARENT-VETTED. When enough parents say "this worked for my child," we mark it as a Proven Solution. Not doctor recommendations. Not influencer opinions. Real parents, real results — things other families have tried. Melatonin for sleep. Weighted blankets for meltdowns. PECS for communication. Solutions that survived the 2am test. 41 DIAGNOSES. ONE VILLAGE. Autism. ADHD. Down Syndrome. Cerebral Palsy. Epilepsy. Rare diseases. Whether your child was just diagnosed or is aging out of services — there's a community here that gets it. Every diagnosis is treated equally. No condition is too rare. No question is too small. RESOURCES BUILT FOR YOUR CHILD. Every diagnosis group comes with vetted national organizations specific to your child's condition — not a generic list, but the real ones that actually help. And every state has its own Parent Training and Information center linked directly in the app, so you can find local advocacy support without hours of Googling. YOUR COMMUNITY, YOUR WAY. Join diagnosis-specific groups and connect with caregivers who truly understand your journey. Share wins, ask for help, or just vent to people who won't judge. Post anonymously when you need to. CARE LOG. Track medications, therapies, behaviors, and appointments in one place. Take it to your next doctor visit with real data instead of scattered notes. ADVOCACY & RESOURCES. Know your rights. See at a glance whether your state's Medicaid actually covers your child — no income guesswork — and what to do if it doesn't. Find resources for all 50 states. Access tools that help you fight for your child's education, services, and future. Built by a dad of five — including twins with Level 3 autism — who couldn't find what he needed and decided to build it for everyone. quietly, we flicker. together, we illuminate.

What's New in nyceville

1.1.6

— NYCEVILLE AHORA HABLA ESPAÑOL — the entire app is now available in spanish. not just the buttons and menus — the whole thing. every question and answer from families across 41 diagnoses. every state resource. the care log. the advocacy letters. thousands of posts written by parents in english now read naturally in spanish, and anything new gets translated within seconds of being posted. switch languages any time in settings. nothing is lost, nothing is hidden, and you can always see a post in the language it was written in. if you've been navigating waivers, ieps, and medicaid in your second language while already exhausted — this one is for you. no family should have to fight in a language that isn't theirs. — ALSO IN THIS UPDATE: THE 2026 BALLOT — seats on the november 3 ballot now show a "candidates for..." button on the official's card. tap it to see everyone running for that seat, side by side, with identical information for each. no ratings. no rankings. no opinions. just who's on your ballot. and note that the person in office and the person running are two different doors: your representative's office handles what's happening right now — a denied waiver, a coverage problem. a campaign is who you ask "where do you stand on medicaid?" both are one tap away, kept separate, because they are. open seats now explain themselves too, so when a governor is term-limited or a senator is retiring, you're not left wondering why a familiar name isn't on the ballot. we're still adding candidates and campaign contacts for the remaining races. when something isn't in yet, we say so plainly instead of leaving a button that goes nowhere. nyceville is an independent app built by a parent. it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any government entity, agency, or elected official. quietly, we flicker. together, we illuminate.
