Nymic ships with 30 AI voice presets spanning a natural range of male and female voices. Each preset is a neural voice model — WavLM features matched to a speaker bank, then synthesized by a HiFiGAN vocoder — all running locally. Voice packs are delivered through Apple On-Demand Resources: download only the voices you want. Want a voice that's yours alone? Record any source audio and Nymic builds a custom voice on device from it. That audio never touches a server. Neither does the resulting voice model. Privacy is not a toggle in Nymic. It is the architecture. There is no cloud endpoint in the audio path. Requires iOS 18.0 or later. AI voices require a compatible device.
