I luv watching replays on my smart tv and had an issue with NYRA app casting to my tv. But fortunately for me Nick and the rest of the NYRA Now crew helped me out and fixed the bug!! It’s hard since Covid pandemic finding customer service and technical support like the NYRA crew!! Amazing experience with the app !

Will not connect to Chromecast or connect to Bluetooth. All you can do is watch on iPhone
Works sometimes.
Sometimes the site works. Sometimes it’s a blank screen. Mostly a blank screen. Terrible APP. Needs major updates and repairs.

Useless
The video freezes up and the screen darkens right before the start of every race. I can’t use the app to watch a race. Makes me concerned about NYRA bets if the on demand app is like this. I live in the NYRA viewing area where these are my “home tracks” and am hugely disappointed.

Used to be able to watch NYRA replays on YouTube - then they came out with this APP. Can’t watch any replays - keep getting the message cannot be played at this time - so much other crap going on with the screens and all the information - you can watch the track “LIVE” when nothing is going on (how wonderful) but cannot see race replays - that’s progress for you

Total disappointment!!!
This app was a total disappointment! The multiple cameras angles are a farse because of the distance. You can’t see anything, plus there’s still black-out restrictions on most angles. Furthermore, there is no accompanying sound feed. I had to go to regular programming to find out which horse actually won the race! My “star-rating”should be less than a 1star! :-(

Freeze up.
The app constantly freezes. Very frustrating. Now there are ads when I switch between views I should say an ad because it’s an ad from Saratoga that advertises Claiborne very annoying.
Squash the bug and it is back to best in class
After the latest update a month ago when the NYRA circuit moved to Belmont, the live video content now stops playing after a minute and eventually throws an error. I can get it to work for another 30 secs if I restart the stream but then get the same behavior. This makes it a very frustrating experience at the moment. Edit: the link issue is fixed but video is still an issue. Should play without buffer with 200mb+ internet speeds and it does not.
When working, NYRA Now is the best track specific app available. If other tracks followed suit, I believe they would likely see a decent uptick in handle. Personally, I no longer regularly wager with a track unless they broadcast full HD video, which this app provides as well as good content and a great user experience. 2 stars for now until the bug is squashed, if it gets fixed, an update to 5 stars will be in order ;D

Bad Video Feeds
The app as designed is great. Love the camera angles, talking horses (by race), and the live video is great when it works but more often than not, the video hangs or stalls out, even in the SD setting...NYRA get your video feed straightened out and this would be a five star rating. For now, it’s all promise and no delivery...

Video freezes up too much.
This worked when the races were from Saratoga, but not from Belmont. After 2 minutes or so it freezes, then I have to restart the app. All other streaming apps work fine, so it's not my Apple TV. It also does it on my iPad. I hope someone is working on this problem. It's nice when it works.
Bad service
Wouldn't accept any of my credit cards. Then when I tried to apply at the track they said I needed a social security card because I was too young (22 years old).
Apple Watch
Amazing app would be even more amazing if there was an apple watch app to go along with it just to show live odds and send notifications about races about to go off. Would be very helpful especially walking around the track all day.
Great way to watch races
Really enjoy the multiple video angles, great tool for trip handicappers. This is becoming my favorite way to watch live races and replays.
