Rlly convoluted and hard to follow

We did half the tour then just went shopping. My teenager decided NYU probably isn’t right for her. The content sounded about four years out of date. Times have changed a lot. In case anybody is listening, I would say something this important warrants an annual refresh.
App not well conceived
The app has a crazy path that doubles back and is way longer than needed. This was horrible on a sweltering day. And it doesn’t integrate well at all with maps and info on the web. I found myself searching maps and google constantly. Finally, and this isn’t really the apps fault, but you can’t go inside any of the buildings except at the start. Again, horrible on a record heat day. People will still go to NYU because it’s a great school, but this app and self guided tour will dissuade those on the margin.

App not working
I cannot get past the homescreen and start the tour
Pretty decent GPS audio tour
We used this when the timing didn't work out for a guided tour. It was actually really informative and worked well enough, although we had to get absurdly close to the locations to trigger the next audio clip. I'd recommend skipping the Wasserman Center, it's super far away from everything else and they talk about it in a later spot anyway.
