NyxAstra is a native, local-first AI image studio for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Generate, refine, and organize images using your own OpenAI or Azure OpenAI API key—without a NyxAstra account, subscription, or backend. API credentials are stored securely on your device using the iOS and iPadOS Keychain or encrypted local storage on Mac. Prompts, history, templates, and generated images remain local to your device. When you generate an image, NyxAstra sends your prompt, generation settings, and reference images directly to the OpenAI or Azure OpenAI endpoint you configured. NyxAstra asks for permission before the first provider request and never routes your content through Gavin Schnee Studio.
