No map of restricted areas??
I am amazed there isn’t a simple way to see all restrictions on a map (unless it’s hidden somewhere?). Trying to figure out if one of the more than 20 restrictions relates to where you are hoping to go…. When it could all be on one map

Great resource but map images too small
A zoom feature is needed on the maps just like the fish pictures. The writing is just too tiny.

This official app may be out of date and incorrect and they will not accept responsibility. We must all get the correct information from elsewhere but they don’t say where.

Content looks useful, however UI/UX need to improve like, still app does not fit into large screen(say iPhoneX).
Theme color, images and other resources like very simple, like 5 years back.

New lay out ok. But
Like the new lay out but need to be able to have different favourites for each region. I fish three regions.

Would be handy for the visually impaired if the app had the ability to be viewed with larger text.
Still needs correct map boundaries
The fisheries areas in the Cook Strait and outer Sounds areas still need redefining to follow the proper borders as laid down in the Fisheries Act - especially for the restricted areas. Maybe a zoom function on the maps will help?

Awesome. Hit 'update app' on menu to get missing species.
Was missing the data but realise you need to hit the update app button to get any missing information. App is complete!!
Not quite there but better than before..
Needs a full array of photos, surely not that hard to do. Missing info on Kingfish and Snapper... Why is our most popular fish left out???
Improvements still needed
Needs better photos, bag limits need better explanations. Important species like snapper are missing. Pig fish, granddaddy Hapuka, blue koheru. Maomao. Even some species names

It is a great a app but some of the most common fish in New Zealand don't have pictures for people to identify what species they have caught.
Great idea though just needs all pictures and a bit bigger to see clearly.

Great App, but no Snapper rules in the Auckland / Kermadec section in the latest update.
Huge Improvement!
Massive improvement with the update! It has gone from a 2 star app to a 5 star app! Well done, I can actually use it now.
