Inaccurate

My local tide times seem incorrect by more than an hour.

Not accurate

Not accurate, between 1-2hrs out from the correct times.

Update

This app has no dates for 2018 making it quite useless.
Wondering why there is no accountability by the developer. Do not purchase this app is probably best accountability.

Don't buy this app!!

There has been no updated information since Dec 2017. Totally useless.

2018 NZ version not working

Best iOS app but on 1 January 2018 it stopped working on my iPhone for NZ Tide Times. I’m ruined

Doesn’t work in 2018

Happy new year. Not.
This app doesn’t have any data beyond 2017 so just displays zeros now.
This is in addition to the other problems such as getting daylight saving wrong and not persisting user preferences.
I guess this is the developer’s way of saying they can’t be bothered.

Wrong results

This has been giving the tides an hour out for ages and has not been corrected.

Inaccurate- waste of time

Good specific areas, but Tide Times are incorrect which makes it worse than useless.

Incorrect daylight saving correction

On 30/12/15 this app provided a high tide time in NZDT, one hour later than the NZ met service (that is "corrected for daylight savings"). This apps incorrect daylight saving correction wrecked our day.

Useless

Useless. App times 1.5 hrs different to metservice

.

Good app but problem with Daylight Saving Time function. Tide times shown are out by 1 hour. Sort of defeats the purpose of having the app - needs sorting, but otherwise really good.

Daylight Saving Working Reverse

The Daylight Saving switch in Settings is working in reverse. Tides are correct in NZDT when switch is Off rather than On. Assume reverse when ST ends in a few months. Will have to wait and see, but should be sorted out. Why can't it be an automatic thing? It is on other Tide Apps. Otherwise good app better range of places than others

Tide times are wrong

The app seems to have a problem with daylight saving. Tides are wrong by one hour if the app is set to daylight saving time. This needs to be fixed, as it can’t be trusted for accurate tides.

Does what it says on the label

I find this app to be straight-forward and easy to use. I'm a sea swimmer so need to plan in advance and find swim buddies. I don't anything fancy and this has the info I need. It has lots of locations and I've always been able to find one that works for when I'm traveling. The opportunity for improvement would be the ability to type in a beach and have the app connect you to the tide time closest to where you will swim. In this version you have to scroll to find a relevant location and it may not always be obvious if you are unfamiliar with NZ geography. So far though it hasn't let me down. Very satisfied.

Needs to update date

If the app is open and you bring to front, the date does not adjust to the current. Aside from that, it does what it says on the tin.
