OB Avala

OB Avala is a mobile application designed for users of the healthcare services provided by General Hospital Avala. It is developed and tailored to meet user’s needs, enabling them to stay up to date with news, notifications, services, and the locations of the healthcare facility. The application delivers real-time notifications and updates, giving users timely information about promotions, discounts, and other news from the hospital. On the home screen, users can read articles about healthcare topics and other relevant updates. Each news item is accompanied by a push notification that immediately alerts users when an article is published. Notifications can also be sent independently of news articles if the hospital needs to share a brief update. Users can interact with the news through the Bookmarks feature, only if users are registered/logged in which allows them to save articles for later reading. Services screen contains all healthcare services provided by the facility, along with descriptions and pricing for each service. The list of services is updated daily to ensure that all information remains accurate and up to date. Locations screen displays the nearest hospital location based on the user’s current position. To access this feature, users must allow the app to detect their location. They can then open the map within the app and view the fastest route to the facility.
