Great device

Great device, but they will nickel and dime you to death

Slow

Incredibly low to identify vehicle and very slow scanning. Also, if you don’t do absolutely everything exactly right it will not connect, such as key on engine off, hood popped, etc. meanwhile my topdon topscan connects and scans without issue and in a fraction of the time. Also, if you have ‘24+ VW make sure you really research rather than relying on descriptions on a retailers site before you buy it, as you will be severely limited on what you can actually do due to SFD2 being very restrictive, even though the resellers will lead you to believe it is capable of doing everything under the sun. If they can gets SFD2 working and maybe speed up connection time I’ll revise my rating.

Leider reicht hier zum anlernen nich die Basisversion und man muß ein Jahresabbo für 80€ abschließen und wahrscheinlich geht damit auch nicht alles und man braucht noch Credits - Fühlt sich nicht so gut an😥

Basic diagnostics are available with the FREE plan, while advanced service functions such as adaptations and calibrations require a PRO or ULTIMATE plan. Credits are only needed for One-Click Apps and are not required for manual functions included in those plans. Werde wohl meinen Dongle verkaufen müssen

Leider wird lediglich noch die OBDeleven for VAG mit dem Lifetime Pro Account nutzbar sein, während man hier genötigt wird, ein Abo trotz des Lifetime Accounts abzuschließen.
Die noch funktionierende App wird nicht mehr geupdated und irgendwann funktioniert sie nicht mehr. Ich war einer der ersten 100 Personen die sich damals den Gen 1 Dongle gekauft hat mit dem Pro-Account..
Ich behalte mir daher auch vor, notfalls rechtliche Schritte vorzunehmen!

Good device and potential but….

Too many pay walls even once you’ve paid alot for the device it self. Great for diagnosing faults etc.

Everything costs Extra

Really upsetting, I was under impression that I could remove the service or oil notification for free and that only modifications would cost money… but no every service I need to pay this app to remove the notification… not like a one off app upgrade fee, but every service… really disappointing after having spent good money on the device itself

Limited capabilities

For the amount of money paid for the subscription service there are too many limited capabilities with this device anymore. When I first got it I loved it but it seems to be more restrictive now. I regret paying for this service. I should have spent a little more and just got Ross Tech.

Still not as good as the VAG version

While this version seems focused adding lots of features to extend the value of OBD11, if you just want to diagnose, it’s still inferior to the VAG version. For example, reading live data for the engine, I cannot search through the hundreds of outputs as I can with the VAG app, and I can’t seem to get the results in Fahrenheit. The scanning is definitely faster, but that’s where the improvement ends. Much more focused on upselling.

needs credits just to export PDF; found share logs

I just switched from a friends OBD to scanner to OBD 11 after OBD 11 VAG group app told me to switch. The first major frowny face is expects me to buy credits just generate pdf the error codes. after digging through Support, I found the export logs capability. Which can email text logs.
