Destroyed my mental health and my light’s in my car I’m fuming iv gotta try and find my cars long code now and try and code it or take it to a vw specialist and i will be taking obd11 to court for the costs 🤬😡😤

Don’t buy this, not what’s advertised!
It works well had this for about three years!!
Had a rough start to get this established and working. Been great ever since. I know a VW CC sport. Most of the programming works. There was one for the radio that says it’s compatible, but for whatever reason it doesn’t want to change but other than that, it’s been excellent. I wish it was more clear on its upgrades. Do you have to buy another module? Can you upgrade the software in it and it’s not easy to reach out

Won’t connect since new update
Cannot get the new “recommended” app to connect to my phone no matter what. Only the VAG app works at the moment. I’ve logged out, deleted my car from the scanner, reset my Bluetooth, deleted and reinstalled the app, you name it. The new app refuses to connect
Terrible app for my VW car
I have a MY21 VW car and usually use the VAG version, but the app always asks me to switch to this app. So I gave it a try, and the experience was awful. I always had the issue connecting the OBD device; it always failed to upgrade the device when prompted to, but never had an issue with the VAG version. If you can not make this app work properly, don't prompt the VAG user to switch to this app.

Look, I get it. Trying to get the most out of the program and features… I’ve had OBD11 for a long time. These prices are out of control for what’s actually available. At least for my 2017 Audi that I’m paying 2025 prices for. Can only do so much with old tech. Don’t mean I should pay more for it. Just saying

Riddled with nudges/ads for their AI features or to upgrade your subscription (even when already pro??).
Drops the connection to the OBDeleven connector when the VAG version of the app still works without issue.
Everything is harder to find in this version. The app is more focused on people interested in using it to track the gas usage than people actually working on their car that need long coding to reset service intervals or battery configuration.
It is a shame the VAG version of the app is pushing us to this version. Will probably just get VCDS instead of renewing pro again.

Latest update has killed it.
Since the latest update the car scanner will not remain attached to the Bluetooth on my iPhone 15
Should be easier to use
Takes forever to connect even when sitting right next to it. The app crashes every time I tap scam. Every time. Tried all the normal troubleshooting only remaining conclusions is bad software

Mit dem VAG Lifetime wird man dennoch dauerhaft dazu gedrängt ein Abo abzuschließen…
Schlussendlich, wer mit der alten App zufrieden ist, sollte diese weiterhin nutzen und gar nicht erst auf die Idee kommen die neue zu installieren.

Always need credits
Bought this to help with my car. Works ok, It just seems every operation I want to do needs credits to run. Wishing I’d stuck with CarScanner or other non subscription version.
They made me pay to do my brakes on s5

And the app can’t tell what car it is, not every car is a gas engine. There are diesel models also..

This product is a scam. They will get you for the product, then will ask for money for credits, then make you buy a subscription. Stay away. Cost me $300+ at the end of everything to perform a battery adaptation

Doesn’t function as described
Paid for credits for a one touch app, doesnt work, im sure ill have to fight to get my money back. Haven’t had a good experience in the past
Bad App
Bought 500 points, activated an option for BMW for 200points, didn’t work, got 5 errors after this action, restored to original , charged again 200 points, and left 100points. Next day I saw 0 points. This is how I got robbed for 140$ for nothing. I charge them back with my Bank, those scammers.
