When the story impacts the entire country and not just Michigan?
True to gannets lack of standards articles that are subscriber only are not marked as such. This seems to be a problem of gannet. How can you trust their reporting when they cannot be bothered to Mark articles correctly. What other shortcuts do they take?

But i think when you click in links in an article you should not get a blank screen

I really like the content and local news. What I do not like is repetitiveness of stories. The same story headline is repeated in multiple places but only one actually links to the content. Occasionally some stories are outdated. I am using an iPad with the most recent iOS version but this is not new to this app.

This app takes a great idea and over complicates it. As an observer reader, I just want to see my local news. I have a hard time navigating to relevant content.

After cruising around Hometown & O&E's website for years, with its empty spaces and so-so graphics, the arrival of this brand-new, polished App. is very welcomed and appreciated. It's easy to learn how to get to just the right info you need and has lots of eye-catching graphics.
