Something recently change?
All of sudden, I have to restart the app every time I open it. Just started a few days ago. Nothing changed on my side, same devices, no updates.

I subscribed for access, was charged after the free trial, and am unable to access as a subscriber. I reached out to customer service for support, and never heard back from anyone. Will be disputing the charge and deleting the subscription.

However, there is a lot less local news than there used to be. I guess it’s a sign of times. local government is having a field day without newspaper coverage, like it used to be.

I am a subscriber but most times it takes me several tries to get it to recognize my subscription.

The app seems to have been better before the upgrade. I don’t scroll page to page; I use the flip buttons, which can disappear if you accidentally zoom out.
And since there is little to no extra cost involved, why don’t you publish the comics section in color during the week?

Helps me have a more in-depth look at current issues, have been reading the OSB and it’s predecessors since I was old enough to read. Miss the old days when a newspaper was able to cover more local events than they do now😢

Glad to have the e-newspaper. Would like more local coverage and less USA Today and national coverage. Sports section has way too much Florida Gator emphasis.

But every time you hit the main page there it is again
… and you must wait for it to load so you can close it
Cannot send an article via txt
I get the paper for the cartoons… some of which were removed in the Sunday funnies, which I guess I’ll have to live with
The news is not as current as it was back in paper days… especially sports, you would think since it’s digital it would be current
Since the update awhile back you cannot flip the stories or funnies sideways in order to read them easier with out having to scroll sideways
Offline usage where you check the box to download so you can view while in airplane mode does not work

Touchy
I believe the Star Banner’s format is great. The problem is that its touch screen is very touchy. The slightest touch can cause loss of control of what you’re trying to do. I enlarge the comic screen and can end up at the front page.

Doesn’t load. I’m an old fart and prefer to see the news as it is layed out for print. iPad Pro 15 latest os.
This is ridiculous it shouldn’t take a half hour to load. Reset iPad wait another half hour. This is more than frustrating. Click on an article and see the 5 lines of the word Advertisement. Slicing terrible. If this continues I will definitely cancel.

E-Newspaper
Not working - cannot get newspaper to download fir the past two days - tried repeatedly. Very disappointed I cannot read newspaper.

Update Did Nothing To Help My Issue!
The user interface for the Ocala Star Banner is a terrible experience for me every day. The double solid blue arrows that block content on the left & right sides of my iphone result in a very slim viewing area. In addition I would like to simply swipe left or right to make sure I have seen every page. When I view the Gainesville Sun I do not have these problems. I have called multiple times about this issue with the user interface including today when I was told to update my apple iphone App which I did. It did not change the interface. I need someone to explain why the Ocala App can't be compared to the Gainesville by the IT department. I have vision & hand issues and need assistance with this problem. I pay for my subscriptions.
