Impressive Instrument and app

Great Job from Embertone, this iOS-App is really a must-have for a wind sound. A fully developed Midi-Setting, a brilliant and playfull instrument, a nice looking app and many usefull performance features for only a part of the price of a Kontakt Library in this quality.
I habe older iPads, my senior, a iPad Air2 is almost 7 years( latest iOS) and runs perfectly also in big buffer sizes.
I make a ambient and world music and find this app more worth than the price...the sound-examples on the homepage will show you the possibilities...

This is an AUv3 Plug-In, Not an Ocarina Gimmick App

While the description could be a lot better, it’s also a buyer’s responsibility to take a minute to research what they’re buying. It does not teach you to play ocarina. It does not have you blow in the microphone for your peruvian panflute coffee shop gigs. You can play this with your keyboard or any MIDI controller really. This is an auv3 instrument for use in a DAW like Cubasis or Beatmaker 3, or an Au3 mixer like AUM. It sounds very pretty & expressive. It does not use very much memory or DSP. The onboard reverb is nice sounding.

The only bad or buggy things about it is it sometimes crash or freeze BM3 if i mess with the CC parameters like sustain in MIDI settings. Have to stop my DAW before touching those settings, but this is not the first app inside BM3 I’ve had to do that for. The in-app mod wheel also seems to do nothing in standalone or au3, not sure if I’m doing something wrong there. Still it sounds beautiful.

Misleading name and images

I purchased this thinking it was a ten hole ocarina app similar to the four hole apps available. This app has nothing to do with ocarinas other than the name and the picture on the screen. This is a keyboard app with an ocarina’s range. It might be fun to play with, but it’s useless as an ocarina learning tool. Very dissatisfied.
