Unusable, Confusing, No Customer Service
I clicked to join this program from an after-purchase offer that said “claim $50 bonus.” That did not appear in my account after following all instructions. I could not find information about how it worked - or really how any of the app/subscription/program works - on the app or the website. In addition, within the app on different areas, there was conflicting information about my “trial subscription.” One place said I’d be charged 8.99 after a thirty-day trial; another area said I’d be charged 4.95 on June 27.
With these questions, I contacted customer service chat and, after a couple days, received a reply saying, “Hi, thanks for your understanding while we transition from the old cash back system - which most customers found too confusing and challenging to use - to the simpler mechanism, where future purchases will be reimbursed immediately and automatically without you having to take any action. That being said, we would of course be happy to transfer the balance you had remaining to your PayPal. I can see that your balance was $9 -- is it ok if we send that to mailto…” In other words, a scripted response to a question I didn’t ask, and no response to my actual questions. I politely responded saying so - and then followed up again three days later when there was no additional response.
No response back yet. Not sure if enrolled companies know how bad this is. That’s my long story to tell you not to waste your time, let alone give them a subscription fee.

Underwhelmed
This seemed promising, I did a trial and nothing was as advertised. The instant refund process was not easily explained and never showed up on my account. Customer service felt like a scam and kept asking the same questions with no actual action. Do not recommend
Watch out
If you are trying Ocean Shopping because of a promotion make sure you use your promotion points THE VERY SAME DAY they will take your promo points the day after they were awarded and they will tell you it was a limited time deal. They did this to me and also to my best friend that I referred.

I do not like this company they keep trying to get money out of my account got it the first time and I canceled subscription the I didn’t no longer wanted it please stop trying to get money out of my account

They said downloading the app with the promotion $50 cash but then they changed it back to $9 even with a paid subscription. Avoid this app at all cost, nothing useful, just go straight to the merchant website

App was sold to me as an Amazon competitor. It was supposed to have free shipping and literally the first thing I tried to buy, you had to spend a certain amount to receive the free shipping. They offered free credit for signing up, and I was not able to use it without going back-and-forth with customer service for two hours.

Best shopping app with the best benefits!
I have been using Ocean. for about eight months now, and I absolutely LOVE it! As someone who primarily shops online, I appreciate the cash-back benefits on stores I frequently buy from. It’s always a nice surprise when my Ocean Cash balance increases for a store where I wouldn’t typically get a discount.
The app is extremely user friendly, and I haven’t had any issues with tracking or redeeming rewards. I also love using my Ocean Cash to purchase discounted gift cards for stores I shop at, which makes the savings even better. It’s a simple way to get a little extra back without much effort.
This is an app that I am always sharing with my friends! Highly recommend trying this!

Less than 1 star! It’s a scam
I saw an ad for an Amazon alternative. I was excited, given the current economic climate, however finding out that the app was malfunctioning through the sign-up process. There was no confirmation that my card went through for the free trial, but continued to get charged although had no access to the app or its benefits. It’s not worth it. There is no contact info online for this company. Do yourself a favor, stay away.

Trial isn’t free
I wanted to try the 30 day free trial. When I selected free trial, I was going to be charged immediately. Where is the free trial.

Hi, our apologies for the confusion; your 30-day free trial is indeed 100% free! Like many other apps, however, we simply ask for a credit card when starting the trial. So long as you cancel prior to the end of the trial period, you won't be charged.
