Bug report

I found a bug on the first island where if you jump on the log with the axe at the lumber mill in a certain angle you get thrown to heaven lol

Need more features

Overall pretty fun. Was weird when the credits rolled but the game didn’t seem to be over. Wish they had a built in tracker for bloodstones and machine parts. Would like more solvable puzzles and items that are needed to progress. Like you have to get certain items to get to the next area type of things. Some treasure chests contain meh items that you could purchase from a vendor so the wow factor is limited. Fighting gameplay is ok but even with the best weapon and armor enemies still take a while to hit over and over. Tapping to switch between weapons like 6 times would be better to hold then drag to the right one. I’m being picky tho. Still enjoyable

Why I’m giving ocean horn three stars

When I found this game in the Apple arcade I thought I’d give it a shot the first star is for its breathtakingly beautiful graphics the second is for the story it was pretty good the third is for the overall look of its male lead character he’s handsome now that being said as someone who’s played the legends of Zelda twilight Princess, will you HD edition though the game is in and of self is very challenging they make it petty easy to find what are commonly known spirit springs that are scattered throughout the game. Ocean horn however, makes it really difficult to find any kind of hearts they put shrines in this game that you can access but they do make it very, very difficult so difficult that I decided to quit on the game after a while it started to feel like a grind more than anything don’t get me wrong. The legend of the twilight princess is Challenging however, I was able to pass the game and it was worth it. Take care katie

Fishing ruins it

Overall the main mission path of the protagonist is fun, and the story is satisfying enough for those of us who are fans of the OH storyline.

All the normal gameplay is adequate, although the fighting is basically just to use the monsters elemental weakness and spam the attack button, with an occasional special attack thrown in. Fun enough, but I miss the strategic use of defensive moves with a shield or blocking function. The dodge still works the same, which is cool.

Then we come to the fishing. TBH, I always found the fishing aspect of the OH series slightly annoying, but it could be fun in small doses. In previous OH’s, the fishing was thankfully largely absent from the 100% path of the game. I remember you needed it for a key in Island of Whispers but they didn’t make that fish particularly difficult.

In OH3 the fishing has its own series of sequential missions that are tied to getting 100% on the game. To top it off, the fishing mechanic that was once slightly tedious and difficult has become utterly excruciating. Tedious but relatively straightforward I can live with (like the Titan fights). Difficult but exciting, or even somewhat interesting, I’m completely fine with. The now obligatory fishing in OH3 is the most unrewarding, monotonous task I have ever undergone for the sake of a silly game. It completely killed what fun I was having and now my fun meter is in the red. If I wanted tedious and difficult, I could stay late at work every day.

Also, I’m not sure, but I think one or more minor side quests outside of the fishing may only be queued up once the fishing missions are completed, such as a last side quest on Blue Town(?).

I absolutely loved this but…

Firstly please lengthen the main story line because I had finished it in about 2 months (excluding the final schematics)+ the final schematic takes 10 years so when it says 10 years later please make it happen for the schematic. All in all very good game and I LOVED Oceanhorn 2
