on iphone there is a white bar to grab and push the game up its on the same side the game picks as the bottom of the screen this bar covers the discard card button maybe others :(

This game is well made and also innovative and good looking. There are pretty cool and new mechanics for a card game! Well done!

Don’t buy this game
It’s a great game, but you’ll never finish a game of it, because it ALWAYS crashes when it gets to the second phase. They’ve known about the problem for more than a year (I’ve reported it and so have others) and either can’t fix it or can’t be bothered to. So while I really like the game, there’s no point in playing it.
I deleted it, picked it back up after a few years. The specific problem I reported before is fixed, but it’s super-buggy now. Can’t resume a game because it won’t load. Cards tend to freeze on the screen and won’t shrink down. Parasitism card often doesn’t work.

Hello! A recent update has addressed issues players were experiencing with crashing. Please try a few games and let us know in this review if you experience further crashing. If a crash does occur, please let us know by sending in an in-game feedback report.
Avoid until fixed
Purchased the full version a while back, then access was silently revoked—now locked out despite proof of payment. That’s fraud. As for the game, selecting Hard AI causes repeat crashes, forcing players to settle for easier difficulties. A shame, because the core game is well-implemented. This kind of regression betrays both customers and the original design. Avoid until fixed.

Interesting and enjoyable
Oceans is a rather unique card game that is easily one of my favorites. It’s not a deck builder, it’s a creature builder. The rules are simple, yet the strategies for survival can be quite complex. While there is some minor element of randomness and luck (it is a card game) skill and planning will be far more important as you can always just discard the cards you don’t need until you get something you do.
The artwork on the cards is beautiful and colorful. The theme of the game ties well into the game play itself. And it’s just plain satisfying to create your own little ecosystem of interconnected species all benefiting from each other.
If you enjoy interesting and unique card games, or find topics like evolution and marine biology interesting, give this game a try. Seriously.

Crashes all the time
Love this game when it works but it shuts down on me 40% of the time. Soo frustrating. It asks to send feedback and I do with no fix. Deleted it and reloading to see if it helps. 5 stars if not for that problem.

Awesome game. Only reason not 5 star is I hope a few updates happen. Wish it was more user friendly to read cards. Iike when it’s opponents turn I can’t read my cards. And their are times when I can’t read the deep cards. And it would be nice to just click the cards to read instead of having to hold finger down. It would be great to be able add friends and invite them to games. And push notifications would be nice. But game itself I really like oceans as a board game.

App crashes
Love the game, but the app crashes mid game no matter what. I even bought the full version and can’t play it now. Very disappointed.

The game is super fun to play. Infinite strategies and easy to play. Perfect to play with a friend. Exactly like the board game. I recommend this game!!!
Can’t see cards
Can’t see the cards in your hands so you need to know the cards to be able to play it. Also can’t find a way to ask this question and it is not provided in FAQ or the information tab in app. Disappointing.
Worth every penny.
The free version is too easy; it’s basically impossible to lose. But the app is just like the board game, but with a pleasing soundtrack and no mess. The $4.99 upgrade is totally worth it.

Love the Game - App Needs Some TLC
The game is wonderful. I love the board game and was excited for the app. It is just as fun with decent AI options and the images and play are fun . The game crashes for me a lot though. I hate that I can not see the full card for those in y hand without playing it and there is not enough undo features. With how small and hard it is to read and see everything at once. Still fun and worth the money but could use a lot of minor things to make it great.

Game Crashes Too Often
The game crashes nearly every time I play a match to the point where it’s basically unplayable. The online mode needs an overhaul to make it easier to get into matches vs people.
Fun Game, Different Every Time
It’s a really neat game that reflects nature…once you learn the first few basic cards, you get the concepts quickly for the “deep” cards that are all different and make things interesting. This online version makes it really easy to learn. I loved it so much I bought the board game. I hope this app continues to evolve with more online play and updates.

Great Game but the AI is easy mode
I love this game but the AI is bad and only kinda challenging on hard, I would love to see the game change for the better, I will update my review if the AI improves

the IAP told me that I would get access to every deep and scenario card… Just for your interest… They were already available from the beginning if I played games vs. the AI. They were just randomly chosen but now I am able to create decks and play vs. difficult AI opponents which is fun.
I am happy to support the creators of the app but there is just one annoying aspect…! If restarting the app, the game won‘t remember that I purchased the IAP. No problem, I just click on restore. Problem solved? Yes and no. If the servers will be shut down in the future, I won‘t be able to restore my purchase… There are lots of games which don‘t have this problem. I could even delete the app, reinstall it and my purchase would be recognized by my iPad.

“Continue playing” option?
Games end too soon and without a “continue playing” option your creativity is limited drastically. “Deep” cards are infrequently useful unless rounds can be extended or changed at the beginning or end of a game. This feature would be great, as would adding additional players beyond 2

Good but with problems
I like the game, overall it is entertaining, my one major problem is that after I bought the full game in the middle of a match it boots me out of the game, particularly with the AI, so I have to restart the match and even then it tends to boot me out halfway through it, if this was fixed it would decently be a better game.
