AVOID USING THIS APP!!
I BOUGHT this app after originally trying the basic version and it was great. Unfortunately, the developer updated that version and I could no longer use it with receiving an error message after a long delay. The we developers website is no longer there either.
Stops working
Purchased the adds free version and after less than 2 weeks the app stopped working.

Pleasant surprise
Miraculously the app came back to life on an ipad mini 2 ! It was able to ocr a RX pill bottle. I will test it further. It's quite possible that this app may pleasantly surprise me. (I still want to know why it was quirky (I did delete and reload for performance to return).

Takes little memory and works great on ios10.
Total waste
Do not bother with this POS. Its main function is to serve advertising — mostly intrusive splash screens with loud video. An app that does nothing but turn a photo into a PDF is *not* an OCR app. This junk appears to be nothing but a cut-down version of another useless, ad-infested app called "Scanner OCR" which likewise produces no usable text output, just garbled alphanumetic strings. Are these two developers accomplices? Apple should investigate. Scammers should be run out of the developer organization for life.

Ok but basic
Is good at extracting text from an image, but you have to hold the camera perfectly straight or the lines of text end up getting jumbled. It also keeps the lines of text as separate paragraphs so you have to go through and edit them out. It also only works with a good internet connection. I've decided that the adverts after every text grab, the paragraph lines and internet are all too annoying with the amount of text I need to grab so have deleted and paid for a different app that doesn't require internet. Should alright if you only need to do a text grab occasionally.

Crashes even on basic stuff
Couldn't get this to work
It crashes (iPhone 6+ on 9.3.5)
I tried it on a somewhat curved page of a book. It crashed.
