Can’t update when returning to service

This app is nifty. But it won’t let you update prices for stations you were just at, even if you didn’t have cell service at the station. It should be based off of the location of the photo you try to post, not your current location.

Incredibly underrated Gas App.

Saved me so much money when I found out a gas station a few miles from me is almost constantly 20+ cents lower than my closest station! Everyone needs to hear about it.

Gas Stations/map won’t load. Restarted the app, uninstalled/reinstalled—nada. EV loaded without issue.

Also, I don’t see an option to filter by ethanol-free gas. Meaningless if the data doesn’t load anyway, but assuming that gets fixed omitting ethanol-free is a big miss for this type of app.

I had a fix for the issue within a day but had to wait for Apple to release it. V2.0.0 is out now with a bunch of extra features. I could add a filter for ethanol free gas and add user reporting to keep track. There aren’t any data sources out there to my knowledge with this data readily available so it would have to be crowd sourced (v2.0.0’s big feature)

Cleanest fuel companion app

Extremely clean and responsive app. I require 93 octane and specifically only use Shell and OctaneBuddy makes it very easy to filter any gas you need. I’ve recommended this app to everyone I know.

Clean and easy to use, much better than competitors. Only request is to indicate whether the gas station or chain is Canadian owned.

Best fuel finding app!

While other apps harvest your data and location to sell to anyone they can, this app collects no data and provides you the same service in a more streamlined interface.

My only issue is that there is leftover space at the top of the app, the whole app could be shifted up to fill the entire screen.

Thank you! There’s a new feature coming soon that uses that little top space for a toggle…I shall say no more haha. I’ll try to release it in the next day or two :)

Simple & Effective with a Responsive Developer

Love the simple UI and ease of use! The OLED usage is great as well to save battery.

If you have any issues the developer is responsive and friendly. Looking forward to future updates.

OctaneBuddy is not my friend.

Downloaded the app twice but could never get it to download the gas station map. With only a three mile gas station circumference, it’s pretty information limited.

Do gas stations load with 12mi radius set? I’d be happy to look into this and fix it if you can share additional details. I am new to app dev so I'm still learning and fixing bugs but this has been a first in a while with over 1100 users. Please send me an email to sid@siddharthnatamai.com!

Changing radius of search

Doesn’t work. Results stay at 3 miles.

Hello, this was a known bug. Try the latest version, it should be better. Larger radius support coming soon.
