Octordle
Love all word games. Thanks to a reel I saw on instagram of an interview to get into a WORDLE game club with Matt Damon & his other wordy friends! Just watching that reel & reading the comments, got to know some more wordly friends & more word games to get addicted to!

This is a great game. Somehow, it’s easier than Wordle 🤷🏻♂️ I love that you can keep playing level by level. Subtracted a star because, frequently, when you tap a letter, it doesn’t recognize the tap. Otherwise, solid.
Brain Teaser
I’ve been playing Wordle for over a year. I enjoy the challenge, but I want to be challenged a little bit more. Thanks for doing that !!!
Addictive!
Octordle really tests your logic and deductive skills - I love it when I still have a couple of empty rows when I finish!
The ads are obstructing the keyboard!
I have been really enjoying Octordle for several months but recently the ads at the bottom have been enlarged so that I can't see/use the bottom of the keyboard. Super frustrating!! I understand ads are a necessary evil but can you ensure they don't actually interfere with playing the game?

I installed this game thinking I’d be able to play with my friends, but alas, I was misled by the Bateman and Mr. Damon.

Not worth the money
If you think you want to play this game….just play quordle twice for free….still get 8 words. There is no daily to play against your friends with. The fact you can not even try it without paying should have been a sign it’s not worth it 🤷🏼♂️ win some you lose some.
Challenging
This is a fun game to play. I wish that I could put the letters in randomly to try out words rather than always having to type in letters in first to last order.
Good Mental Exercise
Octordle exercises your mind more than Quordle or Wordle.
I like the screen layout better than those of the other two. The green “Submit” button and the red backspace are visually more satisfying.
It would be good if “vibex” and “gymps” were accepted words. Along with “waltz”, “chunk”, and “fjord”, one could eliminate all the letters except “q”. However, “vibes” and “gimpy” provide an acceptable work-around. Then “x” is the only other letter not eliminated.

Fun!
I have played Wordle and Quordle for a while now and decided to give this a try. Got all eight albeit needing all 13 tries so guess I’ll give it a go!
Paid version Performs poorly compared to the free version
The free version of the app performed perfectly. I paid for the upgraded version, but now it is running very slow and making my phone overheat. I’ve tried rebooting my phone, rebooting the app,Deleting the app and reinstalling and I am running the current version of iOS. But the issue continues. Please help to resolve this issue.

Good take on Wordle…but a battery crusher
Enjoy the game (despite the app crashing mentioned elsewhere) but really need a fix on the battery issue. My iPad Pro M literally gets hot, and no app has ever drained battery life faster.
Very enjoyable
I enjoy Wordle and enjoy the variation in this game. I’ve seen other comments about crashing and I’m experiencing the same even only after 5 minutes of play. Hope a fix is found.
Very fun to play
Just downloaded today and really enjoy it. It seems to use a lot of battery and I have noticed my phone get warm. Hope it isn’t a problem. Would like to continue to play
I like it
I would have given it a 5 star except the app stopped working at game 8 and would not move on to game 9. I hard reset, that didn’t work so I deleted and reinstalled bc there is no option to communicate with the maker.
Love it...but...
I love the challenge of the game. But the crashing is disturbing. It usually happens about the 2nd game and the battery is heated. So I have to stop for a bit. That may be good because it's so addicting.
Game crashes
If this game didn’t crash, and I could see all 8 words on my iPad screen, I’d give it 5 stars. I can almost see all of them while typing, but not quite.
Fun and Challenging
I really like this game. One Wordle per day wasn’t enough. This really makes me think.
so much better than wordle
I’ve really enjoyed Wordle but sometimes I wish I could binge Wordle—and make the difficultly more consistent. Enter Octordle. When my bestie explained the concept to me, I thought: no way that would work! It would be way too hard or not fun. I was wrong. Only complaint is that the app crashes every ten times or so, but when I close the app and start again, it seems fine.
