The Bible, finally made for your ears.
“Odé Bible is the most creative Bible app I’ve ever used. Instead of a narrator reading verses, it turns each book into an album — Galatians as rap, Ruth as folk, Colossians as cinematic worship. It’s not songs about the Bible, it’s the Bible itself, sung and rapped.
The Odé Translation is a modern-English rendering built on the King James and American Standard, and the app keeps songs and Scripture clearly separate — you see the lyrics as they’re sung, or open the full chapter to read every word. That distinction matters, and they got it right.
The listening experience is genuinely built for real use: playlists, queue reordering, mood browsing, offline downloads, a sleep timer that stops at the end of a chapter, and lock-screen controls. The daily streak system — from Hearer all the way to Keeper of the Word — actually makes me want to come back.
Privacy is excellent: no account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking. Everything stays on your device. Chapter one of every album is free, and the monthly or annual subscription unlocks the rest.
If you want Scripture that fits your actual listening habits, this is it. Five stars.”
