Lights great, app needs work
This app is way more difficult than it needs to be. When I purchased the lights, I was told the app would be updated soon. It has been over two years. One would expect the app to follow the quality of the lights.
1. The user interface is crude
2. Updating is difficult unless you figure out the magic handshakes
3. There is no preview to view the pattern in action.
4. It seems to have difficulty going over midnight
5. There is no assistance in the app.

So Much Opportunity
Let me start out by saying that the lights themselves are better than their competitors. That said this app hasn’t been updated in a year and the app has multiple issues that make it so much harder than it needs to be
1. Really poor interface. Not well thought out at all
2. The app gives you baseline example lighting patterns but they all have motion in them. You cannot edit and delete the motion. You have to create a pattern from scratch and you cannot copy the colors. You can’t even get to a color and see the cymk settings
3. Setting colors is a nightmare. There are three options. A color wheel that is horrible for phone interfaces. A recent colors option which is only for colors you set and not for colors from other patterns. A cymk option where the white element is not independent of the other three options. I tried to set darker purple for example but couldn’t use the slides because of the pegged white slide
4. Setting days to run is backwards. Your only option is every Monday, every Tuesday , and so forth. There are no date options so you have to set it for all days and just remember to turn it off when done
Oelo did such a good job with hardware but completely futzed the app. Please Oelo. Please make something better.

Functional app, yet disappointing
Just had my Oelo lights installed. Happy with them, frustrated by the app. It hasn’t given errors or crashed, but is missing obvious functionality. 1) There’s no option to duplicate saved patterns. I love pattern A but I want to change the motion. I have to recreate it from scratch. Which leads to… 2) I can’t copy an existing color. I can’t even tap on an existing color to see where it is on the color wheel or what the RGB code is.
Please add these two features to make the app so much easier to use and I’d happily update my review to 5 stars.

Every day is a holiday at my house!
I love my Oelo system. At my house, one-day holidays (like St. Patrick’s Day) become week-long celebrations. And for Christmas, I am able to schedule multiple lighting themes throughout the week. I run a candy cane combo, twinkling “icy” colors and the traditional multi-color Christmas look.
Amazing Display - Easy DIY Install
I absolutely love this system! My wife and I wanted a light system that didn’t diminish the look of our home during the day, yet gave off a traditional, outward facing display at night. The app is incredibly easy and our entire family can change it for whatever occasion we are celebrating.

We just had the lights installed and immediately became the envy of the neighborhood. If you like to decorate for holidays or simply liven up your home’s exterior, these lights are perfect. The installation team was professional and thorough and really made everything a breeze. The app is seamless and makes it very easy to customize your display. Highly recommend!

Awesome Lights/App
What can I say! We just got our lights installed today and couldn't be more happy. Communication with our rep was easy, we gave him pictures of our property of what we would like and he got back to us right away and got the ball rolling. Once everything was all said and done, they came out to do the install. They were very professional and informative. Would love to see more oelo lighting solutions where im from. I can say im the first one in our town to have lights from oelo. Im glad I stumbled upon them from google search. Thanks oelo, I look forward to sharing my lights with my neighbors and all the festive holidays

Love it - perfect for all occasions
We got lights installed right before Christmas and I absolutely love them!! We have used them for Christmas, New Years, and so many other occasions. I am so happy my husband does not have to get up on the roof now, and they look so much better than the regular lights. 1000% recommend.
IT WONT WORK!
MY LEDS ARE HOOKED UP TO THE RIGHT WIFI BUT WONT WORK!!! SO ANNOYING! PLEASE FIX!
