Wouldn’t let me log in with my newly created ID and refused to accept my google info. It’s going in the trash.
Easy to Use & Long Lasting App
I was delighted to see my old fav is still around. I last posted for our 2014 trip, and everything is still there & ready for our new one. Users need to spend a few minutes getting used to the wat the app works, but after that it's a piece of cake. Write and post a blog entry, add pictures, send address to your family & friends.

I tried this app after having used TravelPod and one other in the past. I specifically wanted an app that was easy to write entries in, easy to upload photos/videos to, and then easy to share on Facebook and in a printed book form. TravelPod failed on the book count last time, so I gave Off Exploring a try. Here's what I found:
1. The interface and posting is clunky. You can't post pics without wifi, and the blog had problems updating when I would write an entry. Once you start losing entries, it's a FAIL.
2. Upload one pic at a time? I don't think so.
3. Videos never uploaded. Ever.
I really don't have any pros for this app. Try TravelPod or simply use an online blog. It's certainly better than this!

Overall a good product.
I had a few hiccups getting started but for the most part, I am happy. I do with the itinerary management were a little more detailed. For example, instead of one giant itinerary, maybe I could create a new itinerary for each trip. I would much rather organize that way. The app is great though and being able to blog both on the app as a blog or vlog is very cool. I highly recommend.

Awful
Slow, takes forever to download photos. And, the process would stop completely and I would get an error message and have to reload the same photo, more wasted time. Now, I am stuck on the photo album page. I touch the plus sign to load another photo and nothing happens. I touch my only other alternative, photo album, and nothing happens. I am locked into this page. Apparently I cannot download photos from my Apple device without using this app and since the app is locked, I cannot complete my blog. And, one final thing, why was I directed to a phone app for my IPad? The site only fills about 2/3s of my screen. Too bad, this is a great program on my Dell but apparently they are not ready for the big time with a workable app.

Following The Mother Road
Posting a blog was easier on my laptop than with my iPhone. But once I got the hang of it the app worked smoothly. I had to remember to take a photo with my phone (I rarely do). You can't publish a blog without a photo.
So good so far
This is my first time using the app and I found it a little difficult to figure out, but once I got going all seemed to go well. I'm planning on using it during an upcoming trip to Russia and will plan rating it again after this adventure.
Good enough
We have used this app two years in a row for our family road trip and it has done the job. It does have a lot of request errors when trying to upload video and it has only worked with wifi access. Still worth it.

Great way to keep in touch abroad
This app is really amazing, however it lacks some very basic things:
Ability to type in landscape mode.
Notification for new comments on blogs/pictures/etc.
Otherwise a very very handy and intuitive application. Thanks off exploring!

Really enjoy using!
It is pretty simple to use on both iPod and iPad and I have had positive comments from my readers on how good the blog looks. It would be nice to be able to upload several pics at once, it's a slow process as is, and also hope you add video upload capability. Also would like notification when someone comments. Overall a very good app.

Too small for the iPad. Option: use the online version.

Key pad is too small if you want to work off of a larger key board like the iPad.
Like I said neat app but made for a smart phone.
I suggest to do to their website and use the online app if you have an iPad...... Nice user interface. Intuitive. Has the flexibility I was looking for!

Great app but...
The app is really easy to use and it's nice that even if you don't have Internet connection you can still create your blog and then just publish when you are connected again. However I didn't realize that my friends have been commenting on my posts because the app doesn't show readers comments. Just something to consider to make this great app even better!

Documenting Road Trip
This App has been so awesome during our month long road trip from the East Coast to the West Coast! We've loved documenting our adventures with pictures and that it keeps track of our wherabouts. It's awesome that it posts to Facebook too because our family and friends have loved reading about our trip as we go.

Off exploring.
Great app. The interface is very easy to use. It has helped categorize and log all of my pictures and entries. It is also very easy for my friends to follow along with my journeys while I'm abroad.
