Boring & tedious. HOs are good but puzzles are not interesting. Storyline is predictable; map necessary since clues are not all that clear. I found myself just using the map to advance. Not much thinking involved. Graphics were good. Game played well, but when zooming the game kept counting screen movement as clicks. No where near as good as some of the classics like the Drawn series.

Off the Record
Another addition to the EiPix series. I gave the last addition a 3+ for reasons stated on that review. However, although this was similar in many ways, it was more fine-tuned, the plot held more interest, the music was a bit more on-target for the theme, and everything just "worked" better. I gave this new addition a 4+, since it still does not top a few other companies offerings. Keep up the improvements EiPix! Recommendation: Buy on sale and enjoy.

Dull
Quite bored so I was happy it ended and I had no interest in playing bonus content. Eipix is becoming stale. Nothing unique or challenging. Wish someone would create a challenging and interesting game!

Didn't like it
I can't quite point my finger on it, but I disliked this game. I know I disliked the HO scenes. They require you to do things in a particular order, like needing to oil a wheel before a key falls out. That's annoying, since I spent time searching the scene for the key BEFORE using the oil. There's no map, but plenty of back and forth. The hint will allow you to teleport to a new location, and you'll need it! I was bored going through it and didn't enjoy it. I don't like the graphics, either . Seems dated. I'll pass.

Best Game Ever
Loved this game for its smooth gameplay...no vermin or goblins which is so refreshing... no lag times between scenes....challenging puzzles...beautiful graphics...great bonus game....can't wait for the next one!
Annoyed
I hated this game. Some parts of the game are confusing and the game is boring and annoying. So sorry I wasted my time and money of this one. I want a refund! 😡

I've been trying to play this since it came out. I finally gave up and deleted.
I found this game boring and monotonous. It wasn't fun for me at all, I kept looking at the reviews, wondering if I was missing something...I guess it wasn't my type of game, obviously.

Hard but workable!
Hard, but not so hard you couldn't complete the puzzles and make sense of what has to be done next. I've bought so many games where it takes forever to figure anything out. Haven't finished this one yet but am having a good time working it. It makes me use common sense. Am in my70's and this type of game helps my brain to recharge !

Game was like reading a love, mystery book than playing a game. Like how the writers/producers emphasized on the characters sense of what was most important, instead of what tore them apart. Bonus story brought it all about and Thomas asked as only a child would ask, are you taking me home and two-can I help steer the boat?

Fun in the tropics
Great graphics , fun story . Definitely get this game. My only complaint is that it seemed shorter than usual but worth it anyway!
Off the Record - Another Excellent Eipix Game
Only 4 stars because there are no customizable settings. I don't know why Eipix does not add this feature. Some games have a 5 - 15 second refresh feature.

Engaging game
Not particularly long, and too many standard HOS for my taste, but there were no glitches and scenes were very well done with highly detailed backgrounds and realistic multi-part objects to use
Off The Record: Liberty Stone by LynxMinx
I love this series and I loved this game. There were, as usual per EIPIX, 3 levels of difficulty. The graphics were gorgeous. At each location you must search for a seahorse collectible, hidden audio tapes, beach balls, and hidden letters. Loading was quick between locations and there was an in-game map (marked if so chosen) to transport you there. There was no journal (although we keep asking EIPIX for one) but the story wasn't too hard to follow and objectives were regularly updated. Inventory was labeled and interactive, with complex items to assemble. The HO scenes were varied and there were morphing objects to find in these, but I enjoyed them and did not find them tedious, as I did with Danse Macabre. I liked the puzzles and games for a change. There were no unusual gimmicks, but this game didn't need them because it was so good. It was a decent length and had a bonus adventure, but I enjoyed it so much it seemed short, although it really wasn't! The game ran smoothly and I can't wait for another installment! Good storyline, character voice overs believable. Beautiful scenery! (makes you want to take a vacation!) Loving the hidden object scenes, puzzles, & the mystery adventure of the story.
