Not worth the money right now
I’m fairly new to the thermomix club and so I’ve spent a fair bit of time trying to get the most out of this app during the free trial.
The only benefit I can see is that it feeds the recipes into your thermomix & allows a step by step on the thermo screen.
The app itself is awful. For a food app looking to charge $90 per month, the search is awful & redirects you to collections (more lists of recipes) rather than acting like a database.
You can’t even apply basic filters - not even for major groups like ‘vegetarian’ let alone what I was expecting such as being able to select basic dietary requirements in a profile & then perhaps search by additional ingredients.
Save your money, pay for ChatGPT or just use google AI for free.

This machine is absolutely fantastic, I’ve made 6 different food items over the last 4 days and all have turned out exactly as the pictures and with ease, it’s the best kitchen item I’ve ever purchased by a long shot, the sales lady Anthea, was the best

What did you do with the latest update? I can’t access Cookidoo at all!
Do not update to 26.7.0 it is broken
If you update to this version the app won’t work and the only fix will be to delete and reinstall. Slack QA Vorwerks

Couple of TM7 device suggestion:
1 Toggle option in settings to auto advance NEXT button during guided cooking.
2 Add individual sound volume control for mobile Cookido app. (I would individually set the app guided cooking assistant timer volume louder)

Wifi
Every few times I send a recipe from the app on my phone to the Thermomix - the Thermomix says WiFi is not connected and I have to enter the process manually from my phone into the Thermomix.
Great app
Love the app for meal planning - and great variety of recipes. The one criticism I have is that you can no longer easily import recipes from Cookidoo into Myfitnesspal or MyNetDiary - which I used to be able to do easily and saved me manually entering the ingredients/calculate calories. Now it’s so much more time consuming because Cookidoo won’t let the other app read the recipe and import ingredients automatically.

I hate writing shopping lists, I love the shopping list feature - takes no time to tick off what I

Need comments opinion
Just rating a recipe is not giving enough information neither to other users nor to the recipe developers. Comment section is essential. So people can explain if there are mistakes in the recipe or they just didn’t like the taste , for example.
This app makes me LOVE cooking again!
I’ve owned a Thermomix for longer than 10 years. Recently I purchased the TM7 and subscribed to the Cookidoo app. Best decision I’ve made, I’m so inspired with access to 1000’s of recipes at my fingertips. I love being able to plan a menu for the week, make a shopping list and so much more. If your sitting on the fence about purchasing this app, I promise you’ll be using your Thermomix 100% more than you are right now 🥰

So close, but not brilliant :(
Irritating points: 1) There’s an arbitrary limit of 100 Create Your Own recipes. In 2026 that’s dumb. Should be at least 1,000.
2) the recipe list names i created won’t sort consistently, even prepending a number.
3) I can’t search and filter with my recipe lists , only the global recipe catalog ?!???
4) take care not to delete a recipe in your My Week meal planner, that deletes it out of your entire library (again !!??!?) , there’s another option remove.
5) there’s no search text box in the shopping list
I really hope someone at head office vorwerk see this. It’s smells like your Product Owner for the Cookidoo app doesn’t even use the app themselves… or the above pain points would have been solved years ago.

Love my thermomix and Cookidoo App
This app has genuinely changed my life. I can plan and organize all my meals in one place, and it guides me through recipes as if I had a personal chef by my side. It has encouraged me to try dishes I never would have attempted before, and the results have been amazing. The app is incredibly easy to use anytime, anywhere, which makes meal planning and cooking so much more enjoyable. I absolutely love it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 😅🤗🥰
