Don’t get it!
The app and website would just not work for me! Every time I would try clicking on the membership button to activate one it would just have a blank screen! Please fix this big inconvenience.

I was not able to imitate any membership because the app kept giving me an address error that stated my billing address didn't match. Never got to rent a bike so I don't know how bad the rest of the process can be. Really terrible bug.
Couldn’t unlock the bike
It couldn’t read my card. Went to another kiosk that accepted cards. It was busted. Not great.
Overall rating is accurate
I have used this for one round trip, with my SO, which means two of us taking out a bike two times. Not one use was smooth. First it wouldn’t accept either of our address , which I see others have noted. Then We both had trouble docking it. Time to leave , I grab a new bike without issue from a different location we walked to. Their app would not allow them to unlock new bike, kept getting red error message that said it wasn’t working at this time . I had to bike home alone and then go to get them. One and done for us.

Astounding
The app is great. The bikes run smooth. My only complaint is that there’s not one in every neighborhood!

The bike share is a great concept. Its execution leaves something to be desired. It is inconsistent and unreliable. On multiple occasions, the app has declared that I’ve unlocked my selected bike. Yet no unlocking sound emanates from the dock, and the bike remains firmly locked. Sometimes, moving on to a different bike does the trick. Other times, you are denied access because you have supposedly reached your limit of unlocked bikes. EVEN THOUGH YOU DON’T HAVE A BIKE YET! I’m just grateful I haven’t found myself stranded after an episode like this. Just inconvenienced and irritated as heck. I doubt I will renew my one-month initial membership. I’d rather put the funds towards a bike of my own.

Seems not to work at all
There were two bikes. The first claimed to be available, but the app said it was in an invalid state and we couldn’t unlock it. I tried to unlock the second bike, and the app said it was unlocked but it wasn’t, and after a minute of trying to pull it out, the dock declared that I had successfully relocked it. This occurred twice, and I gave up.

Bikes are solid but 30 min. limit is awful
The pedal assisted bikes are great, but you can only use for 30 minutes at a time before extra fees. This ruins the whole experience for me. Why would they do this??? I just wanted a leisurely ride from Amherst to NoHo, but nope I had to rush in order to not get charged extra. I do not recommend this terrible app or Valley bike share in general.

Terrible app
It took a good 30 min just trying to navigate the app and create an account. Why? It’s 2021, this should have taken all of two minutes. I gave two stars because I was finally able to unlock a bike. However, my friend was not. Despite following all the prompted steps. My CC was charged three separate times. My guess, it’s from all those time I spent trying to set up an account. Not sure I would use again unless they make some much needed changes.

I spent an hour trying to get this to work and it never did. you can’t get more than one bike and it probably steals your credit card number

App and website isn’t working and it says my membership doesn’t allow me to rent a bike. Waste of time don’t even bother.
Terrible app
Tried numerous times. Called customer service. Called my bank. Literally could not get the app to accept my CC (which I use everyday)! No electronic banking options, such as PP or Venmo. Stupidity.
Payment problems
The app won’t take any of my cards, it needs to be fixed, this has been a problem every year
Best app I’ve used all day
$6 for unlimited e-bike rides all day. Can’t go wrong. Zero issues on my end registering and getting my day pass. Hope a lot more people leave negative reviews and discourage others from using this service. That way there will always be plenty of bikes available for me to use. Thanks to whoever created this app.

App barely works
Somehow my account no longer seems to work and I cannot access a bike using the fob. Fine, try to login to the app - password doesn’t work. Click to reset password, the link doesn’t work at first. Finally reset and when I try to log in, app still says password is wrong. I try to log in through the website - surprise, account is locked. Contact support? Sorry, no way to do that. Feeling really uncomfortable that this company has access to my payment information.

Frustrating
There really just needs to be one feature: “Find nearest available bike.” Instead, a frustrating game of clicking on various kiosk locations that state zero available bikes.
Just want to ride
Been trying for over an hour to sign up for an account. Tried multiple cc #s continually told that there is something wrong with my card. App is garbage. I just want to go for a bike ride.
