Offline Blind Date

Offline is the member-side app for a curated, invitation-only introduction service. Every match is made by hand, not by algorithm. How it works 1. Receive your invitation. A printed paper form is given to you in person — it is your invitation card to the service. The app cannot function without it. 2. Scan it. The app reads what you wrote and lets you confirm or correct the result. 3. Tell us about yourself. Answer a few short questions, choose your vibes, upload a few photos, and record three short voice answers. 4. Submit your profile. The team reviews each submission. If accepted, the app shows a confirmation step where you lock your spot. 5. Wait for an introduction. A matchmaker reads everything and pairs you with one person worth meeting. 6. Confirm your time slot. When a match is proposed, you receive a push notification and open the app to confirm or decline. Both members in the pair must confirm in their own app before the introduction is locked. 7. Show up. A letter arrives with the date, time, and venue. What you get • A real first date with someone vetted, in a venue we picked. • A matchmaker who reads every profile by hand. • A clear answer if we cannot find you a match within five weeks. Who it is for • People who would rather meet one person properly than message twenty strangers. • Anyone who would trade a feed of profiles for a physical letter. What we do not do • We do not show you a feed of profiles. The first time you see your date is at the table. • We do not sell your information. Read our privacy policy at theoffline.app/privacy. The app's primary purpose is to give each member a private workspace for capturing the data — preferences, profile, voice, photographs — that we use to arrange their offline introduction, which is the goal of the service.
