Fake reviews and a bad app
You’re better off just using Google Translate.
The app crashes frequently. No verb tables, and the buttons are buggy. I have to force quit after each word search. There’s no way to click on that words that appear in order to look up synonyms and get a sense for which meaning/connotation of a word you’ve chosen. I also caught several errors (or at minimum, words listed as first translations which are only minimally related to the reference word) within the first few minutes of browsing.
In looking at the other reviews for this app, it’s pretty clear that most of them are fake. For one thing, they’re copy/pasting similar text, most of which is fairly generic. For another, this is a dictionary—and a minimal one, at that. It’s not an app from which you “learn” Norwegian. So all these comments about how this app makes “learning Norwegian fun” are suspicious at best.

Downloaded this for a trip to Norway. It works offline, but is missing quite a few words, has ridiculously annoying advertisements when you’re trying to translate something and needing to switch between tabs, and doesn’t give definitions or anything. Deleted in annoyance. Would not download again.
