I certainly do enjoy hearing the word read to me in Hebrew however the reading is not continuous. This means that I am not able to listen to the text unless I am holding my device. I don’t understand the language but I do feel closer to the original text. The app should have the ability to listen even when the app closes on my iPhone. Thank you for listening.

Response from developer

Shalom, thank you so much for your thoughtful review and for sharing your experience with the Tanach being read aloud! I’m glad to hear you feel closer to the original text through our app. Currently, the audio playback works while the app is open, but it does not continue when the app is closed or the device is locked. We understand how convenient continuous playback would be for users who wish to listen “hands-free,” and this is great feedback. Your suggestion has been noted, and we are always seeking ways to enhance the study and listening experience for all. If you have any other ideas or would like news about future updates, please feel free to email us at info@hebrewbible.app. May your learning continue to bring you closer to Hashem and the beauty of the Hebrew Scriptures. With blessings and appreciation, Rabbi Ari

Wrong description of exodus 25:33 in spanish

Exodus 25:33 your version in Spanish said that the menorah branch is decorated with apples. I checked the information with the editorial Shem Tov which they sale the Torah in Spanish hebrew and Hebrew transliterated I and the menorah was never decorated with apples. Do you have another version in English and Spanish in your app? I paid the yearly subscription and I would like to have reliable information please can I have my money back?

Response from developer

Shalom, thank you for your thoughtful feedback and for your dedication to learning Torah. We take accuracy very seriously and truly appreciate when users point out possible issues. The Spanish translation in our app uses a widely accepted version, but as you noted, there are differences in how some words are rendered. In Exodus 25:33, some translations interpret the Hebrew word "kaftor" as “apple”, while most others translate it as “knob,” “bud,” or similar. We are reviewing this verse to ensure the highest reliability and respect diverse Jewish traditions. We are very sorry for any disappointment. We always strive to provide trustworthy resources for Jewish learning, and your input helps us improve. If you wish to request a refund, it must be processed through the App Store. Please visit: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084, and follow the instructions there. We’d also like to know more about your experience so we can continue to grow - please write to us at info@hebrewbible.app. May your Torah study continue to be fruitful and meaningful, and thank you again for helping to refine our app. Warm regards, Rabbi Ari
