What's new since 3.2: FIND CLIPS AND PHOTOS • Switch between Videos and Photos for the same analysis • Rank interesting still frames, pin your favorites, and export them at full resolution • Photo exports have their own free daily allowance; Pro includes unlimited clip and photo exports PRIORITIZE IMPORTANT SUBJECTS — PRIVATELY • Choose continuously tracked faces, people, animals, or vehicles you want to see first in suggested clips and photos • Each card represents one continuous track; if a subject leaves and returns, it may appear as a separate card • Selected-subject results appear before ordinary suggestions, and every selected subject is represented when a usable appearance is available • Subject cards default to the sharpest crop first; sort each type independently by quality, duration, or time of appearance • High-quality crops show a sparkle badge so clearer faces and subjects are easier to pick • Review those subjects while scoring and audio continue, then stay on that screen through Finding clips • Each subject type shows how many tracks were detected and how many you selected • The live video preview outlines selected people, animals, and vehicles • Tracking uses Apple's on-device Vision framework and does not identify anyone, create biometric templates, reconnect a subject after it leaves the frame, or connect subjects across projects • Subject crops and tracking results stay in the app's protected local project cache and are removed when you delete the project or clear all analyses WORK WITH FILES AND KEEP YOUR PICKS • Analyze a video directly from Files, iCloud Drive, or an external drive without copying the original into the app • Relocate a moved or disconnected file and reopen its saved analysis instantly • Pin clips and photos so they survive settings changes and regeneration CLEARER CONTROLS • Tune video and photo suggestions independently while sharing the visual score settings that apply to both • Mode-specific guidance explains Selected subjects, score importance, and automatic suggestion parameters • Pick photos per minute, clip length, padding, and score importance from tick sliders (defaults: 2 photos/min, 10 s–2 min clips) • A red * marks settings that differ from the last save; Done then asks Save (defaults) or Save and regenerate (this video) versus Discard and Exit • Changed-setting guidance and Discard edits appear only after an edit; Reset to global settings clearly names its target • See selected-subject evidence on timelines, clips, photos, and the video preview • On iPad, edit in landscape with the video and timeline beside your clip list • Review the app's on-device processing, storage, deletion choices, Privacy Policy, and Terms anytime from Global settings • See total analyzed, exported clip, and exported photo file sizes in Metrics, and run cache benchmarks with a local history by app version and date • Confirm Remove project on a bottom sheet that explains Recently Deleted recovery in Photos, and warns when deleting an app-owned copy cannot be undone • Cancel an iCloud original download from the toolbar progress ring; Keep going if Wi-Fi drops on a Wi-Fi-only fetch SMOOTHER FILMSTRIPS • The whole-video filmstrip is prepared and cached during analysis, then reused by every clip row • Timeline and clip-row scrubbing respond immediately without starting competing video decoders • Filmstrips restore from the project cache when you reopen an analysis • Higher-quality video preview on iPhone
