About

Point your camera at a meal and OFood tells you what it is and how many calories you're looking at. Confirm with one tap, set the portion, done — it's in your diary. Free means free: no subscription, no paywall, no ads, no account. HOW IT WORKS • Live recognition in the viewfinder: the app suggests the dish as you point ("Ramen?") — tap once to log it. • 1,070 foods recognized on-device, from everyday staples to dishes from around the world. • Portion slider with sensible per-food defaults; calories update live. • Not in the list? Search the full catalog or add a custom food with your own calories. NUTRIENTS, HONESTLY • Protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sodium, iron, calcium and more — today or the last 7 days, compared to standard daily values. • Coverage is shown honestly: foods without detailed nutrient data yet are labeled as estimates, and the app says so. • Patterns and food ideas, never medical advice. PRIVACY, PLAINLY • Recognition runs entirely on your iPhone — meals are recognized even with no connection. • If a person is in frame, the photo is not analyzed at all. The check runs on-device, before anything else. • No location, ever. Uploads carry no EXIF or GPS metadata. • No accounts, no ads, no third-party analytics. • What keeps OFood free: confirmed meal photos are contributed to improve recognition for everyone, as part of the Terms. Where consent is required (for example in the EU), the app asks first and works on-device-only if you decline. You can delete your uploads in Settings. ALSO • Apple Health: optionally write logged calories to Health; deleting a diary entry removes it from Health too. • 13 languages with localized food names: English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Turkish, Simplified Chinese. • Drinks are excluded from camera logging on purpose — their calories aren't visible to a camera. Log them via search. Calorie figures are estimates based on standard nutrition data and your portion setting — a guide for awareness, not a medical tool. What's New in OFood

1.0.5

September 20, 2026

Drinks can now be logged. When a photo looks like a drink, pick coffee, tea, milk, juice, soda, beer or wine with real nutrition, by the cup, glass or can — or search for them any time. New foods: tomato and roasted cauliflower. Brazilian names like X-burger now resolve in search. Typed a food we don't know yet? When we add it, your entry gets its calories automatically. The blur check is a little stricter. OFood is free, with no ads or subscriptions — if it helps you, a review would mean a lot. Thank you!
