About

Oheli is the Jewish community app built to accompany your everyday. From your city's zmanim to the news, from the Hebrew calendar to the community directory — everything in one place, respecting all movements. What Oheli does: • Daily zmanim — Sunrise, latest Shema, chatzot, mincha gedola, shkia and tzeit hakochavim, calculated for your location. • Shabbat — This week's candle lighting and Havdalah, with multi-city support for travel. • Hebrew calendar — Your month with chagim, Rosh Chodesh, fasts, weekly parasha and the Omer count. Clear view in English with Gregorian equivalence. • Parasha of the week — Accessible, contemporary summary of the weekly Torah portion, written in a tone that speaks to every sensibility. • News — Aggregated feed from Jewish and Israeli sources in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Filter by country and source. • Directory of institutions — Synagogues, schools, community organizations. Search by city and category. Built with "Open Tent" in mind — Avraham's tent, open to the four winds: Ashkenazi and Sephardi, Orthodox and Reform, modern and traditional, secular and observant. All welcome. Privacy first: your profile info and location are not shared with third parties for advertising. Registration optional — you can use most features without creating an account. Available in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Oheli doesn't replace your rabbi, your community, or your family customs. It's a tool to keep them closer.
