Love this app!
This is such a cool and fun app! I really love to use it - both to take photos AND to edit photos taken outside of the app! This is a huge and underrated feature! Thank you for that! I have a small gripe however: at the time I write this review I have been playing with the new LOG camera which I love, but somehow I find that the photos taken with it are not sharp when they should be and they also come out extremely small at under 10MP: can you tell me if this is normal? I'm on the iPhone 17 pro. It's a pitty because you can take photos and videos using the LUTs and even importing your own LUTs which is amazing but the photos don't turn out good. ALSO: please give us the possibility to lock settings using the LOG camera 🙏🏻

Overall it’s good
I really like this app but my only complaint is the overwhelming amount of paid filters compared to the free ones. Which wouldn’t be as bad if all the most aesthetically pleasing weren’t behind a pay wall. Also a lot of the free ones look relatively similar to each other. I would like a little more variety.

Also ich nutze old roll schon sehr gerne macht super Bilder was ich manchmal nicht verstehe ist das der Film von einer Kamera oder so voll ist und man dann nicht einfach (classic m) einen Button drücken kann wo ich neue Film Rolle einfügen kann. So das zweite ist ich wünsche mir die Sprache deutsch es wird viel hier genutzt und mal ehrlich das kann man schon echt umsetzen es läuft nur Englisch und irgendwie 2-3 andere Sprachen !!! Bitte fügt deutsch hinzu dann würde ich auch wenn das Abo kaufen

I’ve had this app for years and I’ve never had a problem with it till I accidentally deleted the app and reinstalled it to only see my photos all gone even after logging back into my account ☹️ I wish they had a solution for this because all of those pictures meant so much to me.
Amazing but its been glitching for me :((
Ive been using this app for a while now i loved all the features on it, the pictures always came out well, i love the quality and everything... but since a couple day ago its been glitching. There was a time where any time i showed my face on the camera it would completely glitch over my face. It only did that a few times, but now every time i press the photo button to take a picture it just exits the app :(

Whenever I am clicking the old roll app for opening the black screen came in two seconds and my app get closed please fix this glitch as soon as possible because my whole photos videos data will be deleted permanently because you guys don’t give sign in option like Instagram

Hello. All in-app purchases in OldRoll are processed through Apple’s official payment system, and developers cannot interfere with Apple’s payment confirmation process. A transaction is only completed when the user actively taps to purchase/subscribe and confirms again with Apple ID password, Face ID, or Touch ID. Apple also shows the plan, price, renewal period, and rules before confirmation. You can manage subscriptions or request a refund through Apple if needed.

Cute but not…
Well you firstly have only about 5 filters for free and you have to pay for the app and don’t even try to screenshot or anything it won’t work. They’re quite the stingy company. No one wants to pay for filters in 2026. While the concept of the app is cute it’s a money grab.

사진 찍기를 좋아하는데 카메라를 사기에는 필요한것도 많고 비싸서 앱을 찾아봤는데 진짜 너무 좋아요. 원래도 풍경 사진 같은거 찍는거 좋아했는데 진짜 사진 찍을 맛 나고 예쁜데도 더 많이 가보고싶은 생각이 들어요! 필름이 유료가 많긴 한데 그냥 자주쓰는 필터 한두개로 잘 쓰고 있고 편집도 꽤 만족스러워요. 필터 많이 없다고 뭐라 하시는 분들도 있는데 저는 그냥 필터 몇개 없어도 워낙 필터 퀄리티가 좋아서 몇개로 분위기 맞춰서 쓰면 너무 만족스러워요♡

Eu experimentei bastante o app antes de decidir comprar e estou muito feliz com ele, porque os filtros são lindos! Tem um número bem legal de câmeras — fiz uma contagem rápida e são mais de 50. Testei bastante hoje e tirei muitas fotos durante o dia, que estava lindo para fotografar. Foi um dia ótimo para testar, e praticamente todos os filtros são incríveis.
Uma das coisas mais legais é a descrição da máquina e do filme que vocês sempre colocam quando clicamos na máquina fotográfica. Isso me ajudou muito a escolher a melhor opção para a ocasião.
Minha única sugestão é que a gente possa escolher se quer que o nome do filme apareça na foto, assim como a gente pode escolher se quer que a data apareça. Dessa forma, eu lembraria qual filme usei para aquela foto.
O aplicativo é realmente ótimo! A parte que eu mais gosto, sem dúvida, é a opção do número de filtros e câmeras. A edição não me chama tanto a atenção, mas tudo no aplicativo é muito bem feito.

Good but…
The app is cool. The film simulation is good. However you have to pay money to access all the cameras. 90% of the cameras are locked until you pay which is crazy and the ones that are locked aren’t marked with anything.
