Overpriced Gimmick
If you enjoy paying a lot for mediocre food, Omaha Steaks is perfect. They sucker you into buying a subscription called Steak Lovers Rewards for $40 per year. Then they claim shipping is free for members ~ but you must purchase at least $80 to each address to qualify for the “free” shipping that you already paid $40.
Go to a local restaurant, employ your local servers; because Omaha Steaks is laughably expensive for pre-cooked entrees & average frozen beef.
Lastly: Rewards points expire after only 6 months, and require you to purchase other products AND pay for shipping to redeem.
So, their “free shipping” claim is a lie even when you try to use your rewards. It’s. NOT. A. Reward. It always costs more.

Wildly Incorrect Cooking Times
I only downloaded this app to get cooking times for different types of meat, cuts, thicknesses, and types of cooking. They are WILDLY OFF. Not even close. They claim you need to pan sear 1” steaks for 14 minutes to get a medium rare steak 🤣🤣
Wish it was useful for cooking steaks what I use it for
I know the cooking time is just a feature so I use the app and buy stuff, but at least they could make it work right. First you get barraged with marketing if you allow notifications but u need those for cooking notifications also, but those don’t actually work right, I will start cooking and it will be 5 minutes until I need to flip but like 4 minutes early it will notify me to flip while at the same time still be counting down minutes away. Just a poor feature and deleting this has been happening for a year and 2 phones so likely not getting fixed so deleting.

Good luck
App sucks and customer support stinks even worse. Spent 40 minutes trying to get help via chat on this app after they sent the wrong order. Then spent 43 minutes on the phone on hold. Avoid this company and app
App is Horrible
The development corp should be ashamed! Unless they planed on slowing and jamming apple users. Impossible to get pages to load. Blank cart screen for over 10 seconds! Back button and many more slow downs and glitches. Horrible experience. Sub par app in a fast paced world! Junk

Great steaks - terrible app
I’ve bought Omaha steaks a number of times. I’m always thrilled when my shipment arrives. When I saw they had an app was excited to see what it offered. Big disappointment. Shopping is clunky. The “cook” section is useless. It calculates cook times for grilling only, even when you’ve selected other methods. There are several videos but they aren’t searchable and since they are ordered according to posting date, it’s not possible to find what you’re looking for. Using the webpage from your phone is more manageable and ChatGPT can help you find what you’re actually looking for. Pretty big disappointment.

does not work.
I was really looking forward to using this app. I can not sign in. I am being told my password is incorrect. So I changed it and still getting the same message. I kept getting asked for my username where the email line was. I certainly hope the designers can fix this soon. V
Access denied
Even to enter in App support my access is denied! Please fix!
Cannot login!
The app doesn’t recognize my account. I can login on their website and tried changing password. The website recognized my password change but the app still does not recognize my account. Deleted app and reinstalled with no change. Omaha Steak agents have reported to their IT team three times with no resolution. I’ve wasted a lot of time trying to get the app to work.

I can’t login using this app anymore, I used to be able to. I can sign in on the website on my phone or computer but, when using this app, it says my account doesn’t exist..

I can no longer login using the app it keeps telling me my info is wrong, however I can login from a computer browser with info. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. No luck

I’m writing this review and giving it three stars for one reason Omaha steaks app has been working pretty much so far but now all of a sudden I go to login and I cannot login on the app. I can only login online when I go to login. It says that my user or password does not work. I changed my password. I login online go through perfectly login with the app does not let me login. I also did hit forgot password on the app and of course it says it does not recognize my email address Omaha steaks please fix your app my grandparents used to order from you and I’ve been wanting to order from you as well. I will constantly check the app, but I most likely will try to use the online version until this issue is resolved. thank you.

I don’t understand how you guys cannot get your act together with your tech? The app doesn’t work, the web site is and has always been garbage. It amazes me you remain in business. Now a former customer! There are far better companies out there people, search the web.

App failed to open. As a customer cannot access my account because it says check username or email, also when trying to access a promotion sent to me it says Access Denied! Also cannot access my account to place an order!!!
Great meat TERRIBLE app
Will never let me check out. Keeps just circling back. I tried it a few weeks ago and gave up and tonight I give up again …. DELETED!
