Not very many recipes
I’m not impressed by this app.
Eh.
I was lured in by the promises there was going to be traditional German meals featured in this app. Very disappointed. First, the dishes that are featured are very limited, and include recipes for meals like fried chicken and ravioli. I'm not downloading this app looking for anything like that. I was really hoping for a holiday or seasonal sections, considering this app sells the idea of German family tradition in it's title. Please update this app to include holiday meals such as Christmas Day goose, or Christmas Eve vegetable sauce...There simply isn't enough here to justify paying $2, unfortunately. German cuisine, especially Oma's library of recipes, should include more... And give me some features like video, or at least a save recipe button. This app is no where near complete. Kinda want my money back. Has so much potential though! Please make it what it could, and should be!

WW2
Rather limited amount of recipes. Not worth the money. Don't even bother. Not even worth the one star I had to give it to write this review!
Excellent home style German recipes
Schnitzel, sauerbraten and knödels are some of the recipes featured in this app. It showcases food from a nice, homey perspective. If you're a fan of German cooking, try this! Very unique--you won't find another app like it.
I miss my Oma
Great app, it is a little short on recipes but hopefully they will add more, the orientation and directions are easy to use and the recipes they have are great
Well Worth .99 Cents
This is certainly worth .99 cents. After the Apple Corporation takes their cut, the developer gets what - .50 cents?
The developer had to buy Apple everything to code and make ready this app, so .50 cents isn't going to break anyone's bank account.
Some reviewers expect too much for their $1.00, but most likely waste money on other things all day long.
I like the app including the recipes. I don't thing there are hundreds of good German recipes. What there is though, are well written and easy to follow.
