After downloading the data and opening the chat menu, a message appears at the bottom of the screen "Failed to load model"

Sorry about that — this usually happens when the model data didn’t download correctly or the app can’t load it due to a temporary error. Please try closing the app completely and reopening it, and make sure you have a stable internet connection during the download. If it still shows “Failed to load model,” email us at argeneration.com@gmail.com with your device model, iOS version, and a screenshot of the message — we’ll help you fix it.
