User reviews

Great! Until Montery 12.1

I love(d) using this app for my flashcards, until the MacOS Monterey 12.1 update. Now, each time I open the app, it crashes.

Fantastic app!

What a beautiful and fantastic FlashCard app! Unfortunately it’s got a ton of bugs, and there is no way to contact the developer.

If the bugs are fixed, I will edit this review. I’d love to keep using it, but it’s slowly become unusable.

Used to be much better on ios13 at some point.

Can’t expect much from a free app but the author doesn’t want to fix the existing issues. Submitted quite a few of them for the previous versions of the app. They promised to fix them. The update bumped the minimum os version and I literally updated to 14 for this app. It still occasionally crashes(eg launch the app, open search..) The issue when the header becomes transparent… etc
I remember messaging the dev with the question about the status of these issues, asking if they were resolved. But got no response.. Perhaps it’s better to switch to Anki. Animations are good though.

all is great amazing interactions

but i wish i can return to the next line when i create a card
and i want to decide which deck to study cause sometimes i just want to store the cards and study them later. Not all cards need to learn.

Questions

This is a very pretty and what looks to be a very functional app. I was wondering if there could be a dedicated settings menu with notification tweaks? I assume your algorithm is good but could be fun to have multiple settings of more crunch time oriented study weeks and more relaxed study weeks? Perhaps not? Also as an iPad user I would love if I could draw on the app or hand write. Just an idea, I don’t know how difficult it would be to implement but could be cool! Thank you for developing the app!

Also could you add folders? To organize my decks? After this coming semester I would like to catalog my old decks into a S’19 folder and that addition would greatly improve the look/feel and usability of the app!
