I’ve gone on way too many awkward first dates from other dating apps where you meet someone and immediately realize there’s no chemistry. OMGHey kind of solves that! You do a chill and quick video speed date, so you can actually see the person and get a feel for their vibe before deciding to match. It saves so much time and honestly makes dating way less awkward 😁

New innovative solution to dating
This app is amazing! It’s a new solution to the awkward text convos on dating apps. It makes the process of meeting people a lot more easy and chill. What’s nice is you get to meet people in a similar stage of life to you! I’ve met a couple people through this app. I hope one of them is my person! Highly recommend!!! I hope you find yours too!

Does not allow live chatting
There is no time at which any live chatting is available with OMGHey.
The only time frame for speed dating was to occur at 9 pm EST 03/24/26, and so at 9pm eastern time (which is summer time, so 8pm EST) the option to join a live chat was unavailable both in the app and at the website. Same thing happened at 10 pm ET (which is 9pm EST).
Also all the previous reviews (all 5-star) were posted in the span of 4 days about 2 weeks ago, which is sus.

Honestly one of the most fun dating apps I’ve tried. Instead of endless swiping you actually meet people in live speed dating sessions with other college students. It feels way more natural and less awkward than normal apps.
Met some really cool people already and the whole vibe is super easy going. Definitely worth trying if you’re tired of the usual dating apps!

Most efficient way to actually connect with someone i’ve ever experienced! Only took a couple calls to have a really enjoyable conversation. And when we met for a date we already knew we get along. This is the way
