Total failure not worth the effort
I purchased four sets of lightbulbs. The app does not work with the current iOS version. Crashes and will not connect to the light bulbs. Completely dissatisfied with this product. Never again. If anyone is looking for eight lightbulbs that resemble cough syrup red flames I got ya. Otherwise skip this app and if you can return them lightbulbs to Amazon for a full refund.

Doesn’t do anything
It’s so hard to connect it to bluetooth and when it finally connects app doesn’t do anything can’t press it does not work .

App Doesn’t Connect
I’ve used this product in the past and it worked great with the app. Now that I’ve moved and tried to setup again the app doesn’t work the same. When I touch the edit icon the app closes and I cannot add a connection to the app. Very disappointing product.
New update made my lights stop working
I bought four of these lightbulbs off Amazon just a little while ago it was working fine then they did this new update now nothing works but just the red light only you really need to fix this 4 lights were not free for me
Keeps resetting
App keeps resetting to language that I do not understand and I have to keep going outside each night when my auto porch lights turn on to change color back to what I want. Terrible

They are cool and all but extremely limited to what you can do. Mine keep resetting to default red color. So I keep getting porch light red…doesn’t work for those auto on and off lights for this reason. But inside where you keep them on and set works fine.

So I saw this app was rated pretty bad when I first got it, and it worried me, I had trouble at first connecting the lights due to one reason the directions on the app forget to mention that when you connect them for the first time it has to be within 5 Seconds after turning the lights on. But you only have to do that ounce when you first get the lights. I also wish they put a mode that lets the lights go to white. The lights are clearly able to go to white because they go white on the color changing mode.

I will immediately change my rating to a 5 once you guys update to allow the user to choose -WHITE-
What’s frustrating is when you choose “Gradual” or “Direct” and it starts changing through colors automatically, it cycles through perfect bright white!
So, the bulb does have the ability to be white, but there just needs to be a button or something to access it.
Please!

Too expensive for fun bulbs
They are a little pricey, but not bad bulbs. I have 4 in a row on my garage, and when I switch modes, one or two bulbs takes a little longer to catch up with my command, or I just tap the command on the app a second time and it will work, same goes for changing the color. Fun to play with, and they’re bright enough, and have a lot of colors, but they forgot one thing. There is no white/yellow-white, for when of if you want a normal looking bulb. Also too tall for older fixtures.

App doesn’t work
I tried several times to get the bulb to work properly. I plug it in and it automatically turns on with a red flicker. But the bulb won’t connect to Bluetooth or there is no way to control the intensity of the flame or The color. No matter how many times I try to delete the app and reload nothing seems to work to get the bulb connected to my iPhone. It is not what it advert ties to be. It’s just a red flickering light.

App works well you basically have to figure it out on your own ....it needs to remember the last color setting and it would be perfect.....
Do not purchase.
I’ll save you the headache, skip this purchase. They are asinine to connect, and impossible to keep connected. The developer is Japanese and hired an Indian to develop this. The instructions are broken english, the settings are broken english, the UI is horrendous and the app simply crashes upon startup now.
Wait for a reputable company to develop something of quality. I wish I could return this product.

Good, but...
For the price, they really could be brighter and it would be nice if you could slow the flicker effect.
It’s pretty inconvenient that the bulbs don’t remember their last setting when disconnected from power and default back to red.
The flame effect looks more natural with the standard bulbs too so I think I’ll be sticking with those and returning these.

Like a charm
No problems at all getting this to work. It took less than 5 minutes to get going. My main problem was my Bluetooth was turned off. Most apps would help you realize that but it worked once I turned that on. The instructions have one problem, they tell you to delete room, it actually wants you to “clear code.” Than enables a fresh connection to control the room selection. Once my connection was established I did not see a blink confirmation, it just started working. Overall great product for the price. My only qualm about the actual product is I wish I could slow the flicker effect. App works fine.

Works for me on iPhone 8 Plus
It took me a couple tries but it worked when I followed the instructions that came with the bulb. Specifically, one must power the light then select match code within 5 seconds to see the light flash twice to indicate a successful Bluetooth connection. After seeing the two flashes I was able to control the bulb via this app. I can change the color. I can make it flicker like a fire (flickering). I can make it steady (normal). I can turn the “fire” upside down (inversion). I can make it fade on and off (breathing). I can turn it on or off and I can dim it.
The bulb and app are fun to use. If the illustration of the flame in the box that the bulb came in matched the quality of the “flame” more closely then I would give the app more stars. Unfortunately the picture on the box is cooler than what the product can actually produce.
