Killer bug
I bought this because of the advertised procedural drawing brush, as created years ago by Mr Doob. Not only is the implementation of the brush poor, if one changes the width of the brush in settings, it loses its attributes and only draws in polygons. Two stars for effort but cannot reccomend.
Worked on 11, choppy on 12
I love this app. It worked so beautifully on iPadOS 11, but now on 12 it’s choppy and basically unusable. Pretty disappointing because I used to use it a lot. Will change rating if there’s an update that fixes the issue.

Most unique collection of procedural brushes
OmniSketch has been on my assorted iDevices for years, and it runs just fine in iOS 10. It has quite an array of interesting effects brushes, especially if you add the geometry set.
While it's useful as is, I'd love to see at least an image layer added so that I could fit use pre-existing art or photos as a reference. As other reviewers have noted it would also be helpful to have better color controls.

Not accurate
Kaleidoscope isn't true to kaleidoscope, only a four-way split. Disappointing!
Needs an update!!!
This was one of my favorite drawing apps. My young boys were delighted with it too. It was easy to be inspired - with wonder results. That was before iOS 8!!! Now, it will not run with out a crash within 1 minute. Booooo! Please get us an update to fix the crashing.
What happened?
I am a long time Omnisketch user and LOVED it. It was BY FAR the best of the Harmony-clone (pure procedural brush) drawing apps. I've long hoped for an update to fill a few of its functionality gaps, so I was DELIGHTED to finally see it in my update list today. And now... I am SO SORRY I clicked on it, because this "update" (if you can even call it that) is TERRIBLE. it completely destroyed the app. Very much hoping it is just a bug, and that the developer will fix it ASAP.

Thank you thank you! Please keep adding brushes and text . We'll pay extra it's an awesome app! Auto save would be good also. But I have tried them all and this is my favorite!

Very good app
I just recently downloaded this app so I have a lot to learn. There are so many brushes and variable options that it will take a while to figure out. Also the color wheel is not very friendly and too difficult to adjust. Over all its great. I wonder however how some of the artists achieve the beautiful detail I've seen in the gallery.

Great App
I have several art apps and this is one of my favorites. It was also the first art app that I got on my first iPad. Most are missing something, but this one has everything I need to draw, sketch and paint.

Buy this! No brainer really! I constantly search for good drawing apps and haven't found one in awhile. This is very cool, brushes are unique & save hours of time. I wish they had an easier way to get back to a pure white when changing colors & I would like to be able to import other images but still this is very cool anyway. Anyone can create something great with this!

Worthless-applies blur to your drawings every time you save!
In terms of a drawing tool, this has nice features. But this is rendered worthless if when you save your file, the next time you open it, it's blurry. Every single file I've saved has been blurry the next time I've opened it! If you save multiple revisions as you work, it gets blurrier and blurrier. Stupid and useless. Would be 4**** if it let you save your drawings without destroying them with a permanent blur filter.

Best Art App....Period
This app is so good this is the first time I've written a review. Dead simple to use and you can make beautiful drawings,even if you aren't an artist (I sure as heck am not). If you buy one drawing app, make it this one.
Exploration of skill
This app. This program sparked in the interest of art ive been seeking for so long. The app allows a person to test their skill in art and creativity. Lots of fun and does not get boring.
Rekindled my love for drawing!
I've doodled and drawn for years but had put it on the back burner ( life got in the way). Now I spend at least an hour almost every day drawing! The program takes a little getting used to, but it's awesome! Can't wait to see what the future has in store for this app.
Fun sketch tool
I just started using the app and find I can create some pretty, colorful abstract designs. I don't know how one could create art such as illustrated on the app page though. Maybe it just takes more practice or reading some instructions.
Addictive!!
I found this app more compelling than the more expensive "Inspire", though I love them both. I can spend hours just playing with the different brushes just to see what patterns can be created. And the additional .99 I spent for the geometric brushes was well worth it.
Very cool!
When I first downloaded this app, I hated it. However, the more I played with it, the more I saw how ingenious it is, and how much you could really do with it, if you give it a chance. It is now one of my favorite apps. Try it! You'll be pleasantly surprised!
Bad
The normal procedural tools are not good. Was hoping this was more like the Harmonious app but with symmetry support. Everything is too sharp, there is no blurring or really good shading. I guess I wasted two bucks to find out this app doesn't have what I was looking for. I hate the app store policies. All sales final.
