Fine at what it does but very basic functionality, I would hope for cars that seem to be all about the tech that the app would provide more. My previous car app would alert me if I left the car unlocked, windows open etc.

Works great with my Omoda 9
In the UK this works perfectly with my Omoda 9. Can check charging, turn on the AC during the heatwave etc. Super reliable after 3 months of ownership. Wish there was an iOS widget for quickly doing things like AC/heating and seeing the charge level.
This car deserves better
First the good news, the app doesn’t log me out every two weeks anymore. Now the bad, it’s stopped logging me in. I just get a lovely pale blue Omoda Jaecoo screen, it’s actually relaxing to look, waiting while it does nothing. The car itself, Omoda 9 and customer service are actually very good. The app is like the dysfunctional family member.

This app is terrible. It has only allowed me to link the car and I cannot do anything on the app.
Total Failure
Eventually managed to enter my ViN and Engine no. But could not get any further. There appears to be no way to link it to my OMODA 5 SHS Noble. Even the sales team I got the car from could not set me up. All sounds great in principle but no delivery. HELP.

Not as interactive as other manufacturers, cannot log into vehicle. Local dealers unable to help
It’s Ok - just….
Managed to log in and link my car without any issues. Occasionally it will ask me to re-enter security codes etc. which is not a smooth process as security codes sent to your very rarely- if ever - arrive.
Would be good if the app also included a mileage / journey log. Both my last two car apps (Audi and Volvo) included this feature - I had assumed it was a basic feature that would be included with all car apps.
The Jaecoo itself is great but they have a lot of catching up to do with their app - a lot of catching up…

Can’t even accept terms to get in app
Waste of time
Accessing the app is so hit and miss, one day it works and shows the range and allows me to use the climate settings options, the next there is no data at all. Now I can’t get on to the remote control access so the app is beyond pointless. A major overhaul is needed which I assume is coming given how popular Omoda and Jaecoo are becoming in the UK. Until then don’t bother downloading this app.

Set the app up working ok for a few weeks,now completely crashed and can’t get a thing from it Absolutely worth less
Terrible app security issues
Once your in the app it works ok, after a few months it throws you out and forces you to confirm your identity and click terms and conditions however when you try to get a code to you phone to verify the sms never comes through stopping you from accessing the app.

Can’t create an account
Tried multiple time to create an account and the app never sends me a code to be able to register one. What a joke of an app. Means can’t access half of the things on the car.
Could be better
App is alright. However….. if it needs updating it won’t charge the car. So this morning I came to a car with hardly any charge as it hadn’t started charging in the night. Meaning I now need to pay petrol prices to charge my car at a random charging station.
Missing feature
App installed and connected easily to my new J5 but the tyre status tile shown in the images isn’t there?

Excitedly downloaded the app. Submitted details..it’s now been 2 days and I still have not received the code to complete my registration. Complete let down. Guys it’s 2026 how is your app failing!!😵💫🥵

Constantly logs you out every app update. Its like the devs dont know how to use the kaychain in iOS.

Besides that says it displaying Miles as range but despite 20+ app updates the number is clearly Kilometres.
Also when logging back in be way less awkward of the SMS feature worked 1st try - takes anywhere between 1-5 goes before it actually sends one. Which means logging back in can take 2mins or 2 hrs.
