Great easy to use and simple
I only use to order from my suppliers and receipt into inventory. Sales are done by my online sites and Etsy. Also like to have my stock items with pictures, easy setup of categories etc. and purchasing history. The email purchasing side and receipting into stock is simple and accurate and easy. Highly recommended for small businesses and ecommerce guys like me with several sites. My stock is mainly boomerangs, soft toys and puppets and gift boxes, stationary and specialist packing material. Satisfies all my business needs.

I have been using this App on my iPhone for the last two years to keep track of my inventory of books that I have for sale. This App works so well and is invaluable to me. I love it.

Inventory app
We are a medium sized prop mgmt comp. and needed to manage our maint. Dept. inventory. This app rocks! The developer rocks! Professional, intuitive, user friendly and very nice in appearance. I was able to import via .txt file so I didn’t have to hand key data in. So excited to have an iPad app that employees and management are connected to. Worth every penny. Period.

I have been using this app for quite some time now. It is definitely one of the better ones out there.
Could use a little bit of improvement: ie, customer notes and customer layby options, but otherwise has pretty much everything I need :)

A gem for small business selling/tracking products
We have used this program for about 18 months in an environment involving 10 users with great success using an ipad. It is intuitive, fast and smooth to use. We have achieved good compliance among users.

I am an independent contractor in a hair salon. I need a system to help me track my inventory and sales taxes. This system has everything I was looking for. I purchased a little cash register and I'm thinking hard about returning it.

Couldn't figure out how to add items.
So far so GREAT!
Love it so far, all I have done is input all my inventory and now I can check out how it works. So far, very easy and stylish app when adding item pictures, categories, sizes, suppliers, etc. Definitely worth a try to see if it fits your business. Mine is a hair salon.

Great app for a great price. Just what I needed for my small business. It tracks your inventory, customer purchases, profit gains/losses, emails or prints professional invoices, and so much more. I just realized that I can do month & year comparison without going back and forth. It was an amazing find for such a low price.

I am confused by Tardive Dystonia’s review. I have been using On Shelf for over a year and have never paid more than the initial purchase price of $4.99. I've entered over 2000 items and have never been asked to pay more. I do know that the app does offer a subscription service that allows you to share data between multiple iPads and/or users, but that is optional and the prices are listed in iTunes. I have found On Shelf to be a great asset for managing my business.

I think the program is well thought out and gives you the tools to manage inventory. The only problem that I have is you buy the App not realizing that you are Abe to use it for one month free. Then you are charged a subscription fee. I don't see anywhere in the information the details of the amount that you wii be charged monthly. Does the amount increase as the number of items increase in your inventory. I like to work with companies that are straight forward and lay all the details out before you purchase the App.
