Search Feature not working

Enjoyable app, interesting history, however on iOS 15 the search feature doesn’t work. Let’s you plug in a date but always reverts to current day. Deleted and reloaded. Same. Plus day won’t change. I would literally have to reload app daily for it to work. Would rate higher if it worked.
