Great functional App
It lets me keep updated on all going on with my new Kohler generator. I love it. Great job!!!

Minor issue but annoying
Almost impossible to reset password. It will ask for code in email, switch to email app for code will back to homepage of OnCue and then need restart the password reset process. Never ending loop until you have a second device to retrieve code in the email
Amazing Machine!
I had a Generac generator installed and it kept breaking down. After my 5 year warranty was up, the main generating coil failed and the part was 2/3’s the cost of a new complete unit. My repairman suggested a brand new Kohler unit as he claimed zero problems with the brand. The best decision in my life as it has not failed with over 5 years of service. Online I couldn’t find any negative reviews on Kohler, but 100’s on the Generac/Guardian units.

Took 2 days then connected. Stayed up a few hrs lost connection and 24 hrs later still trying to connect?

Generator Status
Nice to get notifications of generator status as we are a considerable distance from our cottage so it’s important to know if generator is operating.
Terrible
I have spent hours trying to get into this app have made several calls to no avail. I am at my wits end. Would not buy another generator from Kohler. This is my second one. I like the distributor and they have done a good job. Tidewater Energy. Obviously a company run by MBA’s and not engineers.

My OnCue has been disconnected for weeks and I’ve called and talked to a human and they could not help. They said they would “get back to me” I’m still waiting!!! I emailed and only got a computer generated response not specific to my issue. They just don’t care!!!
The old OnCue was much better

Super frustrating experience
The app logs you out and then does not accept your password. When you receive the reset code and attempt to enter it, the app shuts down so you can’t reset the password. This has happened to me numerous times and Koehler does nothing to fix the bug. Then they tell you it’s your cache vs getting the app to work like the rest of the world… what’s worse is I spent all the money for the remote alerts and had no idea I was logged out. Horrible.

Worked fine for a few years. Now the login page doesn’t work.

Receiving notifications when the generator runs is extremely helpful and a requirement for me since my generator is installed at a remote location. The new kohler energy management app does not send notifications. I will not switch to it until they fix this huge deficiency.

The app is very helpful in rapidly identifying issues with my regional utility supplier. Very handy in tracking maintenance intervals too.

I lost communication and no one is able to fix it. I went with kohler over generac. The first kohler generator blew up after 15 minutes run time. Kohler provided a new one at no charge. Now i cannot access online. Maybe should have given 2 stars.
