terrible ui/ux design

majority of the information on the app is unnecessary. most, if not all, of the information shown on the home page should be posted on the company’s social media account (e.g., fire alarm notice could be a story, the fall fitness challenge could be a pinned instagram post, etc). it should be replaced with a button that tells you how many classes you’ve completed (it updates each time you check in) and any upcoming classes you have (a nice reminder so people don’t miss their classes). also, the ‘passes’ option (on the services page) should also move to the home page.

the classes page is too overwhelming. once a class has happened, it should disappear. when i open the app to book a class at 10am, i shouldn’t see classes that have already happened earlier on in the day. additionally, if i’m booking a class, i want to be able to see how many spots there are in total, as well as how many are still available (e.g. ride the beat 15/28). moreover, the filtering of tiers should be optimized so that platinum members can view classes available for both platinum and gold members, diamond members can view classes for all three tiers, and gold members can only see classes available to gold members.

as mentioned earlier, an option should be displayed that shows you how many classes you’ve already completed. there is no need to dedicate a whole page to this. if you want to see exactly what classes you’ve taken, there should be a ‘reservations’ option. instead of having a specific portion for financial, i would replace it with a section dedicated to your personal profile. this is where you can see past classes you took (reservation section that was previously mentioned), your payment history (e.g., what you’ve bought, any fees you’ve paid, your membership fee, etc).

i believe one health clubs would benefit greatly from having a much cleaner app. this makes information much less overwhelming and actually makes you want to go on the app more often. an amazing business management software to adapt would be mariaana tek as they offer a much more modern design that’s easier to navigate.
