About

One sentence a day. One book at the end of the year. Your life is happening — quietly, quickly, in small moments. One Line, One Year captures 2026 as it unfolds and turns it into a beautifully structured book that's entirely yours. HOW IT WORKS Daily — Write one sentence about your day. That's it. Weekly — Once a week, reflect in 3–5 sentences. Your daily entries appear above for context, so nothing gets lost. Monthly — Write a brief summary that becomes a full chapter in your book. Book View — Watch your year assemble itself in real time — months as chapters, weeks and days woven beneath them. Export — At year's end, export your complete book as Markdown, PDF, or DOCX. BUILT FOR PRIVACY Everything stays on your device. No accounts. No cloud sync. No analytics. Face ID and passcode lock keep your words yours — and auto-lock kicks in the moment you leave the app. THOUGHTFUL DETAILS Highlights to mark the moments worth remembering Tags to thread themes across your year Gentle reminders to keep the habit alive A clean, distraction-free writing interface Simple timeline navigation — no clutter, no feed NO SOCIAL. NO NOTIFICATIONS. NO NOISE. Just you and your words, building something you'll want to read. A year feels long while you're living it. It feels short when you look back. Capture it — one sentence at a time.

What's New in One Line Journal App

1.0.1

May 20, 2026

Updates to app store page The app now requires Face ID authentication every time you return, even if you only switch apps without fully closing it. Your data stays protected no matter how you leave. All entries, streaks, and tracked data are preserved across app updates. Nothing is reset or lost when you install a new version. Fixed a bug where streak tracking and missed entry counts would silently miscalculate in future years.
