Frustrating as it is good!

found this while searching for no ad games I can burn time with and after just a few minutes of gameplay I’m already loving it. Due to my very short attention span I often find myself deleting and downloading many games but I can already tell I’m gonna have this game long term.

Out of the many years I’ve played iOS games throughout my lifetime, this was the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to write a game review lol.

By no means am I a critic or anything in that regard but this game and the developer(s) as a whole should have a lot more recognition.

Cheers for this game being so simple yet complex, and easy yet almost impossible.

Honestly, this is a great concept, but I’m not 100% sure this is realistically solvable in a normal amount of time, nor am I convinced that there are not multiple solutions. I feel like this 13 (maybe more?) sided shape is just too complex.

Hints should be groups of pieces and should be selectable (not random). It’s near perfect at the challenge it aims to convey though. 4 stars.

Hi Jogamer, Thanx for your reply. It's a 20 sided shape and I have some difficulty myself in solving the puzzle, but I have some experience now and I solve it in 2,5 hours normally. My tip is, just start somewhere and if you get stuck after several attemps, try to start somewhere else. Realize that the start is the hardest part of the game. And don't think too much. Each puzzle has only one solution. At least, I put great effort in realizing that. You write "4 stars", but I see only 2. Is that a puzzle too?

I’m confused

If there is any way to make more of an explanation of what to do?I’m confused about the controls,but I’m sure it would be a good game!

Hi Star_Aiden, You're great giving 5 stars without understanding the game. Just tap on the little white pieces and try to form one line by connecting them. Don't think too hard, it's more like trial and error.

Hi! I was kind of bored, so I went on the AppStore looking for some fun games. I downloaded “save the dog” and it was fun but there was an ad every 2 levels or so and the levels were fast and easy and if you play any games with ads with no choice watch an ad or not, (meaning you have to watch the ad with no choice) you know how annoying they can get especially when you are watching them constantly. So I went back on the AppStore looking for no ad games… I searched up “no ad games”, was scrolling for a bit, checking out games that looked interesting, and I found this one, it looked fun and entertaining so I downloaded it and played for a bit! I haven’t completed it yet but that’s when I realized someone would have to be really smart to do this! I would say I have an IQ above average, (I’m in advanced math classes, clubs advanced art, advanced reading, etc.) So you have to be pretty smart to complete. Personally, I think this is a great game and that you should definitely download it if your looking for a game you can play on a roadtrip because there’s no Wi-Fi needed, no ads, long, entertaining, etc. But what I’m trying to say is if you could make this just a bit easier that would be great! Good game over all! I want this review to be displayed so I put it as a 5 star, but I would really rate it as a 3. (There is always room for improvement) and I would also love if you added more levels. That would be great! Thanks for a great game! Also btw, if this helps weather you download the app or not, I’m 10 years old going into fifth grade after summer is over if this helps with how I was saying I’m above IQ and am in many advanced classes. So if your older than I am, You may have a different opinion after downloading the game… Hope this helps!

It’s fun and challenging. Very simple but difficult game. Highly recommend.

Stressful but I can’t stop playing

Came across this game on accident, but I’m hooked. Day two and I’m no where near a line. Frustrating but in a way that makes you want to keep comfortable back

Great game!!

I love this game but I would much prefer if the pieces from hints stayed yellow or stayed in place!! Also, it would be nice if in-game coins were compiled to help buy hints instead of (but still can be bought with) money.

This game is awesome and I could get caught in it for hours! But could you make the hint blocks not move after they are hinted??

A true diamond in the rough

Among a load of lesser games comes this beauty! Razor sharp in focus and deceptively simple, it does one thing and does it really well. It’s infuriating and beautiful in equal measure.

Hi Manara11, I'm awful late with my reaction, but very much appreciate your kind words. I tried to keep it simple, but some people asked me to make it possible to change the background color. So I made this small adjustment, and you can choose among five colors during the game. Hope it doesn't spoil your opinion.

Ok but could be better

Too easy to hit the wrong piece when trying to move one, even at maximum zoom.

Amazing

Honestly such a simple but amazing game now don’t let that fool you it’s not simple as in easy but just you know one tap controls I still have yet to complete a level 😂

Pointless and not fun

Where is the fun? And why does this start with one huge giant puzzle? Where is the slow ramp up in difficulty? No thanks.

Thanks ToxicCheese. I can see your point but maybe I can explain my motivation for making this game. It was my wife's "longing" for the Sudoku in the Saturday newspaper. She can't wait for this difficult but sober puzzle moment. I also wanted to make a sober puzzle game (no color, no sound, no ads, no in-app-purchase) with a constant level of difficulty a puzzler can count on. I'm taking a risk now, but I also made other games like this one (Loop Loop and Cage It!) which have the ramp up in difficulty you asked for. They also have color and a little music, so they are more in style with a "traditional" app. Maybe you can appreciate these games a little more than this one.
