Microphone

No microphone settings in app or in apple settings. App cannot hear chords

Fantastic tool for beginners.

Great little app to keep you motivated by letting you see your improvement from attempt to attempt, a must for beginners.

Audible Timer Needed

It would be great if there was an audible signal when time is up. Also having the app use the mic to count would be great.

Almost Perfect

Only given it 4 stars as it does not add up the chord changes for you if it did it would be perfect fora beginner like me and I would be happy to pay for it.

From a complete new bee ๐Ÿ

Just getting started and have found Justinโ€™s style of teaching works excellent for my particular style of learning and pace preferences. His chord change app has been really helpful. I am so grateful I have found this and just started using it 2X a day. Highly recommend โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ

Is the app still working?

On a iPad, the app does not orientate itself and does not count correctly.

Looked everywhere no android

Really hate android but needed to find a dl and I guess there is none. Sad

Repeats the same changes

Repeats the same changes over and over and never really gets to the harder stuff like F, Bm and changes with them.

Glitchy but useful

There are problems with adding and editing chords, and the interface is not very well designed. But you get what you pay for.

Annoying bugs but useful app

This app is great for keeping track of chord changes, but the interface isnโ€™t very intuitive, and if you try to tag a chord the writing is invisible. Also, if you want to see your lowest chord scores, it includes those with 0 changes if you havenโ€™t practiced that chord. But still a very useful app.

ALSO: it would be great to add a feature of you could see your progress over time by dates. It would be very motivating if you have 20 changes and get up to 40 in a few weeks!

Brilliant

Great for doing a few minutes of chord changes every day to warm up and strengthen my fingers. Amazing to see how scores improve as days go by.

Brilliant app

This is a free app, it provides the chord charts for you and you just count as you go and enter the tallyat the end. Dont cheat, femember youโ€™re building muscle memory so take itas slow as you need to. Youโ€™ll be able to see your improvement. As you advance you can add chords to the chord bank too.

Cracking app

Initially I did not use the app as felt no need but one day had a go with it as part of my practice routine. Have to say a good simple app. I did not think you could save the scores which I thought made it pointless but then had a look at reviews here advising to press play after finishing. Be good if it saved it automatically at end of countdown if it was a higher score.

Neat, simple,works

Iโ€™ve started using this, itโ€™s a really good tool to fit into daily practice, be nice if it came with a comprehensive dictionary of chords but that doesnโ€™t really matter so much if you know the main chords. Keep up the good work !

Focus!!!

Iโ€™ve been using many teachers, presentations, books and styles for years.. but recently I started to focus more on Justinโ€™s style. Iโ€™m somewhere around intermediate (what is a โ€œlevelโ€ anyway?๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€โค๏ธ๐ŸŽถ) but Iโ€™ve found that going back to basics can really help the fundamentals of your play.. dynamics, strumming patterns, bass lines on EAD etc.. This little app is great for channeling your beat improvement as well as your accuracy.. fast. The real beauty is that you can add in your own chords... especially barre chords... fantastic to be able to zip up to Bm on the 7th to an open C7.. over and over without missing a beat

Minor change/fix

I can hear it when the timer starts but alas when the 60 second timer is up, I canโ€™t hear the audio alert.

Maybe a setting option so I can set the type alert for start and end.

I admit I am hard of hearing and do wear hearing aids.

Clean, good app for what it needs to do

Itโ€™s easy to use, clean interface. Usability is not amazing, but itโ€™s free!
One request: add option to delete or modify a previous score. I mistakenly added 302 chord changes instead of 30, and since then itโ€™s 302 has always been my high score :(

Excellent practice tool

Great tool. Employed as part of my regular practice routine each couple of days and quickly seeing the results.

Mostly wonderful

I think itโ€™s a great app and beautifully designed. I like that I can add chords to the library as need to I learn them. Personally, Iโ€™m glad that the library is not too extensive so you donโ€™t have to spend a lot of time searching through and just focusing on the chords you want. I mightโ€™ve missed something, but I donโ€™t see a way to remove a chord from the library. The only other issue I see is that once I shut the app, it does not remember the cords that I was working on so I have to re-select them each time. That aside, I think the app is brilliant and very helpful for beginning guitar players such as myself. Thanks Justin!
