Super chill

I love how laid back this one is! Great chill game

Better after update!

It’s just an empty shell of an idle game. Mechanics that seems to exist don’t, or require you to pay to progress far enough to access them

Edit: after the recent update and a bit more progress it’s a lot more engaging to play. If anything the early game just needs to be rebalanced as it took way too long for me to reach the first reset I assumed it was a game designed to take my money, thus the original poor review. Updating to 3 stars because it is genuinely a decent idle game at its core

Response from developer

Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. I’m sorry the game didn’t meet your expectations. I’m a solo developer building this game, so it’s growing feature by feature rather than launching with everything fully fleshed out. There are definitely mechanics that are still being expanded, and I understand that can make the game feel incomplete if you reach them before they’re fully implemented. I also want to clarify that none of the core progression is intended to be locked behind payment. If something gave that impression, that’s valuable feedback, and I’ll take a closer look at how it’s presented. I appreciate you giving the game a try, and I’m continuing to add content and improve the experience with every update. There is a big update coming very soon and I hope you’ll give it a try. Thanks again!

Addictive game

This game is quite fun and you can play without using ads although they do help you speed up the progress a bit they aren’t necessary. As an idle game I am a fan and I think you’ll have fun too. Addictive and engaging, can’t wait to see it grow.

Looks nice but it’s very shallow

Some serious potential

A great game with an interesting gameplay loop, it’s fun and it’s engaging but a little lacking in content. The developer is still expanding the game and engaging with the community, give this game a chance and expect it to be amazing within a few years.

Underrated with so much potential

I rarely review games but this one deserves its flowers. It’s very simple which I really prefer for mobile gaming. Its cheeky humor is also very well executed. Oddly it’s causing me to actually think “just one more lane will fix this” despite the inherent satire of the game.

Maybe I’m just not far enough in the game yet but one idea I had that could be a nice booster is the ability to designate a fast lane that only the fastest few cars can use, or like an HOV lane.

Keep up the good work! Can’t wait for more updates!

Poorly balanced

Incremental games should be fun to play and provide dopamine at regular intervals. I’m not sure if this is some kind of meta commentary that the dev is going for here, but this game is not fun to play, even after “balancing” updates. Your first prestige is going to take multiple days and only really provide you with a x2 bonus. The individual upgrades are thoroughly underwhelming, and there is basically no strategy nor any interesting to purchase. Game also appears to be balanced around MTX, with an expectation to purchase a x2 bonus, watch ads for premium currency, and locking QoL like offline time behind paywalls. There are much better games to play on the App Store.

Just one more lane… Just one…

Idc if the game is seen as slow or meaningless, this is genuinely one of the funniest games I’ve played in a while. Go pave, you future corrupt government official.

Love it

Downloaded this game today and I absolutely love it, I’m using some footage in a lyric video too. Great game where you just… add… ONE… MORE… LANE (and destroy buildings and a whole town for a Highway

Very fun, 10/10

I’m sure one more lane will do it…

Surely traffic will clear up if we add just … one more. (Maxed out the first two maps, still having fun getting my bonuses ever higher. Looking forward to more maps and maybe some evolving mechanics; would love a way to permanently (across runs) boost a specific vehicle or class, eg to get rust buckets running faster after some number of runs.)

Great game

This game makes me laugh every single time I recommend this 5 stars

Fun concept

Good game so far. Only issue I have is it isn’t clear what or how much profit each car produces. A stats page of some sort would be beneficial so you can see what your upgrades are staticially worth

Addictive with Potential

I had to pull myself away to write this, not only was I going to stop and do that after 5 minutes but it took over an hour to finally drag my eyes away from this fun new idle game that I’m sure will grow into an absolute monster

Progress not meaningful

Game itself is ok, pretty hands-on if you wanted to leave it open to gain money faster. When you reset/prestige, it’s very slow to get back to the point you were at and honestly not worth playing in its current state

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback, it is very helpful (genuinely). Detour Points have been a work in progress but I think I’ve made some improvements in the upcoming version, 1.2. I’m sure it will need a few more adjustments, but I hope you’ll give it a try. -Brad

Good slow and steady progress

Looking forward to more content. Easy gameplay and great humor spread throughout. The early access car is also a cool touch

good fun

I really enjoy this game, and I can see there is a lot of potential here. I know it is still early days and I’m sure there is lots of updates and such. I like how many vehicles there are and I appreciated the Model F. It would be cool to see a Batmobile or something weird later down the line. The only things I would suggest I at the moment is the scroll bar when in any of the menus, I didn’t realise it was a circle and it felt odd. it would also be pretty cool to have a dedicated menu bar for the menus at the bottom as they feel a bit out of place. Just some minor suggestions. This is a great concept though

Just… one… more… lane…

I have been looking for a new hybrid clicker/idle game recently, this game seems to tick a lot of boxes for a “good” idle game so far, it’s addictive and engaging, you can earn the paid currency slowly over time (big win) although more ways to earn rubies and more ways to spend them would be pretty cool, enjoying the game so far I think I need one more lane though..

Warte auf Update

Alles gekauft jetzt heißt es warten. UFO ist zu schnell.
Sonst ist es ein netter Zeitvertreib.

More lanes

I’m thoroughly enjoying playing this, the latest update is a big improvement graphically and gameplay wise, the game is much smoother and I feel like I’m real progress. I look forward to see where the dev takes this game next

Fun

Really fun and surprisingly addictive. Easy to pick up and understand, but there’s enough going on to keep you coming back

Progress feels good, and it’s nice to check in and see how much I can collect. definitely one of those games you keep opening throughout the day.
